I got one and had no problems except they charged me Dutch VAT. Make sure they don't add that in and you will be pleased with the product and the service!
I expect to have mine fitted this fall with a few extra touches added to it. I think it is going to look awesome!!
I would like to get a quality sound clip of my MGS. When you stand near the front of the bike it makes almost as much mechanical clatter as my Ducati Monsters dry clutch with the cut-away cover!!
The Centauro is similar but somewhat subdued. Perhaps the carbon belt drive covers on the MGS let out more noise.
By the way Pete. My plate has been with me for 12 years and 4 bikes. It is a non descript jumble of numbers and one letter. It spent 4 years on a dirt bike and is quite battered. Twice I have been threatened with fines or it being almost unreadable. I will replace it when they waive the 25 dollar fee for another plate. I'd rather pay the fine.
My guess is you would have a similar plate.

Q.What do Essex girls use for protection during sex?
Dunno but I reckon this is what she looks like!
Where did this thread start again?
Lowball? Now that he has included pictures of his actual bike it looks like a really nice package. I may bid on it myself for fun but my guess is once the bidding starts the lowball bids will be swept away quickly!
I've heard of gunboat diplomacy but this I am liking!
PARTY BOAT DIPLOMACY!!!
Here is the boat!!

P.S. I know it is really a ship for all you nautical types.
Some other factors that brought about the demise of the short pushrod 4V are that it is mechanically very noisy and caused problems with meeting noise limitations and also it would not meet the European or Californian environmental limits. Hence it met a dead end in development for those reasons alone. Short of watercooling it would never make it past those two hurdles and watercooling meant mostly a whole new engine .
My Rosso Mandello has wrinkle paint and no problems at all. I agree with washing with a sponge but I also use a steam washer to get bugs, grease, oil and tar off the engine. It is a cheap steamer (made in Italy!) and probably does not get the paint any hotter than the engine itself does when it is running!
I don't want to sell my Rosso Mandello, or my Centauro, or my Monster, or my MGS, or my SFC, or any of my project bikes but I do want a Griso badly and a Breva 1100 and a Breva 750 and a California and a ............
I agree with this. A good instructor will teach a good student to ride most any bike aside from a modified race type bike. But a new rider will almost certainly have a low, low speed or zero speed tipover. If you can afford to replace a few parts then enjoy!!
Perhaps that is so that a Dynotec 1250 motor can be installed and there will not be a wheelie problem!
(I could always use my Centauro motor as a starting point!)
I had a similar situation with photo's of my MGS used for a British advertisement. Turns out he did not have his own digital pictures (not all of us are in the 21st century) and they were the first pictures he found. He later put in proper pictures of his own bike and proved that he really did have an MGS for sale.
It is a good thing to be aware of misrepresentation but I wouldn't hang the bloke yet. Give him a chance to prove what he says (he does admit these are not his photo's and he will post his own soon).
