  1. My MGS has no MSG or Budweiser. I don'y think it will even run on red wine, only grappa!
  2. Sorry mate! I am on the self medication plan. I'm also involved in a lot of research in the field of self medication. I have tried the English, Aussie, German and American plans and so far all of them work well but I have to admit that Old Yale Pale Ale seems to keep me in the best of 'spirits' (their new Sasquatch Stout seems to give me all my vitamins and minerals too!).
  3. I was called annoying long before I had my first bike and I will be called annoying long after I can't ride anymore! It isn't the loud pipes that are annoying. Toasters don't burn toast. People burn toast!!!
  4. Isn't that some kind of German fetish? Or is that Number 2? One's Japanese and one is German. No wonder they lost the war!
  5. Trust me! MGS will f*ck with your fragile little mind!!!
  6. Did you get a Dyno reading before the modifications? Dyno results are best interpreted as a comparison because 75 hp on one may read as 78 hp on another. It would be interesting to see what gains were made. I suggest using your PCIII to try and cure your dip at 4-5000. Good work and enjoy!
  7. I saw this guy out moose hunting. He says any good hunter only needs one rifle. I thought he might be your brother.
  8. The Ballabio has hydraulic tappets?
  9. I have a Rosso Mandello and I abuse the clutch quite a lot. http://community.webshots.com/photo/221585...21586436eKvpCf# I have had no problems with mine. I believe there is a difference with the single plate clutch in the Rosso Mandello that makes it OK. I have travelled 500 miles in just under 8 hours. I find the V11 comfortable at speeds of 70 and up. Below that it feels like work.
  10. One more vote for BFG and he gets the point!
  11. The bike is called the Monotrace and is a 2004 model although it started back in 2001. The girl sitting in it is Xenia Markova and she is not telling her age. The Monotrace uses an 'Autonomous Motor Unit' design and the engine is a 150 hp Yamaha R1. The bike weighs 300 kg. It seems Belfastguzzi has found the most information but he didn't get the name of the bike or model. Perhaps we could use the poll forum to vote on who gets the point!
  12. Smoky Smith is there. He is one of the last surviving Victoria Cross recipients.
  13. I'll wait one more day and then I'll give the answers. I still don't know who could get a point for this one.
  14. Today was a Canadian ceremony. Tomorrow is the Dutch ceremony but the day is not important. Every day we live is a part of their legacy - even here in Canada.
  15. I just watched the memorial in Groesbeek for the liberation of Holland on television. Thankyou, Holland, for remembering the Canadian soldiers.
  16. The buyer will be welcome but I don't know about the seller. We have enough clowns here already!
  17. Knowing my past history with limited production bikes it will be me. I'mm thinking of getting bodywork and footpegs done soon.
  18. I have heard the same amount. So far only one in Canada but it is not going to a museum. I will not make any promises about serious racing but it will be on the track as much as possible. The rider is the biggest issue (me)!
  19. I use the same technique but I add dish soap and vinegar to the water and it is amazing. Nice to see another MGS owner join the fray!
  20. Check the post previous to yours and all will be revealed!
  21. That is just part of mankinds natural survival skills. As men get older they loose hearing at higher frequencies and as women get older their voices get higher pitched. I believe Charles Darwin wrote something about this!
  22. I have made an error by not acknowledging this point. The designer is Franco Sbarro. There are two gentleman from adjoining countries designing similar bikes with the same name and I had my data mixed. Very sorry! However it has been six weeks and no one has found the model and year of the bike or the ..er.. model! Here is another photo as well as a photo of an earlier model by the same name.
  23. Oh! I forgot to mention that EEP stands for "Elbow Elbow Point". It only works for Rider to Passenger communications. For bike to bike you need the SUB-WAP System. That stands for "Speed Up Brake - Wave And Point".
  24. I use the EEP System and I find it very reliable and extremely cheap. It takes seconds to learn how to use it and I have never had it fail on me yet. It works well even if the passenger falls asleep and it is never too loud. I reccomend it to all as a cheap, efficient, easy to use rider communication system.
  25. Thankyou Paul. Looking at picture #11 of the photo gallery it seems #33 has an amazing lean angle on his bike. I wonder if he saved it? Baldini. It is his brother I believe.
