  1. I think I have answered some of the question with this link. FMI
  2. Goffredo! I am curious as to the models used for racing. Are the Ducati's that race in this class all air-cooled? The Suzuki SV 650 is water-cooled. Are there any watercooled bikes in this class? My apologies if my questions are so technical. I enjoy racing for bikes that are not in the 'big league' such as the GSXR's and 999R's.
  3. That would be fun to see. They wouldn't know what hit them. How'd ya like the wheelie Brian? I just thought I'd leave you a good Guzzi farewell as you left on your high powered R1!!!!!
  4. Would that be up against the aircooled version of the 999R? I believe that is a requirement of a class such as Supertwin but I am not certain. I just found out that if I race in the local Battle of the Twins class that my competition will be everything from TL 1000's, Buell's, 996 Ducati's and RC 51's. Of course the track is quite small with lots of tight corners so I can see some guy with an SV 650 kicking ass.
  5. That is awesome!
  6. ....and it sure turns quick!
  7. Did you hear about the redneck Scotsman? He has to beat himself up whenever he wears his kilt in case he might be gay!
  8. There will be an MGS-01 Corsa at the Tsawassen Swap Meet along with a BSA streamliner and hundreds of other bikes. I don't even have to check my garage this time! Tsawassen is less than 30 minutes from Vancouver. You can call (604) 299-0020 for details. P.S. If Brian Robson goes I wonder how he will get there?
  9. I got the same answer when I emailed him to say I had #184 of 300 of the 80th Anniversary model. No other explanation. Thanks for the tip Steve. I'll cancel my garage sale and list it on ebay instead!
  10. Where can I get one?
  11. How about a supercharged 750 Breva Sport?
  12. ...and I thought this one was retarded! Animal Cracker Sex
  13. I might have known it was you TX!
  14. Ebay is becoming a form of entertainment for me! First a photo of my MGS shows up on ebay. Now someone is advertising a 80th anniversary limited edition #184 of 300! The Rosso Mandello was the 80th anniversary model and I own #184 of the 300 made. I don't know who the joker is but he sure is good! (I'll be checking VIN #'s next) Interesting that it says it is a Limited Edition California E.V. but it is a Lemans. It says 600cc but is 1100. It says 186 miles but it looks to be over 800. What will be next?
  15. I guess where I am we only get the humidity in the winter when heat will cure it. I had forgotten what a humid eastern summer can be like. I still think that building it with lots of electrical power available now will save you grief later!
  16. Try this to have a go at Hasselhof! Celebrity Boxing
  17. That depends.... (Someone had to say it!)
  18. Imagine Rossi trying that pass on Joey! That would be the show of the century!
  19. Somehow I don't think this is what you are looking for, is it?
  20. I always suggest that you have a 200 amp service so you can have welders if you want. Resale is better also. This also allows the use of a good 220v electric space heater. The 220v is more efficient and electric is quick. Oil radiator heaters are great too. If you use your electric heater to bring the shop up to temperature and the oil radiator to maintain temperature you will find it reasonably cost effective and you will have heat quickly when you want it. If you use 110v electric heaters the cost is much more. I am not familiar with the cost of dehumidifiers but if the shop is well insulated and you do use your heaters I don't expect you would have much problem. Good luck to you. A shop is a man's best friend, I say!
  21. I once tried an old trick of pouring comet cleanser mixed in water down the carb of a truck motor to deglaze the cylinder walls. I learned it from an old timer who claimed it was good for an extra 20,000 miles on a tired engine. It seemed to work because initially it made more power and stopped blowing blue smoke. But after about 50 miles the motor blew up real good - a rod through the side of the block. It seems I neglected to listen to the part where you change the oil immediately so that any of the cleanser that gets past the rings gets flushed out. The old fellow got a big laugh out of this!
  22. When I was flying in the Amazon I had the same thing happening. The loadmaster would give me a load sheet that always seemed to be a max load of 2250 lbs everytime but it never felt that way. Sometimes I would unload stuff if it looked too heavy and just before I would take off they would try to sneak it in. There is seating for nine in the back of a 205 and i would sometimes find 10 or 11 crawling in. Sometimes I missed them and would see them as they exited the aircraft. I ask them who wore seatbelts and they all said they did even though there are only nine belts. I had fun flying there!
  23. What the heck is SHIZNIT? Also if you shift at 5000+, why do you short shift?
