  1. Looks like you have been busy! I finally got the last parts I need to get the Centauro together (it looks like your bike - all tore apart). The MGS will be out at Mission April 18. Ahh, what a year it will be! Good luck, mate! P.S. Ordered a bottle of that grappa! Momma loves it!
  2. I first heard about this about 12 years ago but it was about a Canadian light house on the east coast of Canada and the ship was the USS Mississippi, a WW2 battleship! I really don't know if there is any truth to the story but it sure is fun! Your Call
  3. Sure! But you'll need lots of red wine and some spicy food. I am a little partial to lamb....
  4. You win! Anything the Prime Minister of Canada could hold up wouldn't compare to that (nor would the Prime Minister himself).
  5. That site is proof that someone out there has more free time than TX!
  6. I believe that a V12 would be a 60 degree V as well so perhaps that is the way to go. Not as wide and with the shorter stroke it wouldn't be too tall. Makes perfect sense to me!
  7. Most of the things I do don't make any sense (just ask my wife). Owning 9 motorcycles - 3 of which I have never ridden - correction 4 because I havn't ridden the MGS yet - doesn't seem to make sense but to me not owning 9 motorcycles doesn't make sense.
  8. I wonder! What will our children tell their children that they went without as they grew up? It all ends up sounding the same to me.
  9. It makes perfect sense to me but that's because I have one.
  10. Now I have to figure out how to get a sound clip of the MGS!
  11. The one I rode had all that and I still laughed!
  12. They should have used a Harley crankshaft.
  13. Nothing slow in those pictures!!!
  14. The start of this post made me want to kill someone!!!!!! Have they caught the guy who stole Zebulon's bike?
  15. Have you seen the MGS instrument panel? The instrument panel on the RR STILL sucks even if you like analogue!
  16. But Blind Faith was a great band. I wish I could spend a year riding in Europe! There is so much to see. (lots to see here too!)
  17. Lookswise yes, but take one for a ride and you will have a lot of fun! It is like the old CB 350 twins. It don't look like much and it don't go like much but it never scares or surprises you and it is just plain fun to ride!
  18. You may notice that one cylinder sits slightly forward of the other.
  19. I was wondering when Martin would respond to this one. He must have been out chasing (other) bad guys! All I can say is it is a shame that though Darwin usually sorts these ones out it can cause collateral damage in doing so. I am much more impressed by the lads who took their ZX10's and supercharged Vettes out to a remote stretch of road where they are a hazard only to themselves. The racetrack is even more fun! Oh yes! One other thing! Now that I have my MGS I can definitvely say that that instrument panel SUCKS!
  20. When they catch the thief can we invite him to the GMG?
  21. There was more than a flyball in this game! Incoming!
  22. Only if he jumped up at the last (split) second.
  23. The left hand is the devils hand hence the name sinistra or sinister!
  24. Does this mean I have to trade in the MGS?
  25. I cannot think of any good words but my friends who ride 4 cylinder bikes know that riding my bike is different. They do not like to be behind me because the sound when I roll on is very forceful, although they like the sound but it usually means they won't pass me for a few seconds until they get their bike up into the power band. They also know that I seem to have more fun whilst not being the fastest. To me going for a 'ride on a Guzzi' is not the same as going for a 'ride'. I shall ask them if they have any expletives to describe it from their point of view. I find that a ride on a Guzzi (or ride on a BSA or whatever makes you grin) works just fine.
