  1. No. I must make a correction. The company that manufactures the engine for the first bike did have a manufacturing facility in England although the parent company was elsewhere so Nogbad has the correct country of engine manufacturer. So the name of the bike and motor has still to be decided.
  2. Track correct. Nickname of bike correct. You are on the right track with the engine but you will have to pick the right one and then the correct country of manufacture (that should eliminate one of them and the other had an agent in England but the engines were manufactured elsewhere). Still need the manufacturer of the bike.
  3. Correct but perhaps the decade for the point still.
  4. You are so close it hurts. If you can guess what decade it was manufactured I'll ask Jaap to give you a point.
  5. Possibly but it is not a Brough.
  6. You have the correct track at least.
  7. Bravo!! Give yourself a point!
  8. Correct. It is a BMW logo. Is that the manufacturer of the motorbike or the engine - or both?
  9. The relay set up sounds great. I am waiting to hear from friskycutter. He is going to add two Buell headlights to the stock light - I believe just below and beside the stock light. The numbers seem to work out for wattage but I may send him a note to incorporate this relay mod as well. You can never have too much light (or too loud an exhaust - or too much horsepower - or too much carbon fibre - oh where does it end....?)
  10. Please elaborate. (there is a clue)
  11. I agree and I did ask the dealer who asked MGNA and in turn recieved no reply as to whether there should be a logo or something. Someday I may just make my own label. I have an acquaintance who works at his family trophy shop. They are installing a new piece of equipment that uses plasma cutting technology to engrave and it is supposed to look considerably better than the usual engravings. If I get one done I shall post a photo.
  12. Ducati has had a good run at unappealing names - at least to me. The 'Cucciolo'. A puppy. The 'Diana'. A goddess. The 'Darmah'. A tiger. Maybe they would have worked better in English. I liked it when they changed to a simple formula using category and displacement, ie 750 GT, Sport and Super Sport.
  13. What about the money that the Italian government allocated to Moto Guzzi for preserving the factory as a heritage site. I don't know much about it but what little I understand is that it was to maintain the exterior in its original condition whilst allowing the interior to be brought to modern standards. Has this been accomplished?
  14. Maybe to keep the weight down....?
  15. I took the controls on a DC3 once but I was caught and the police made me give them back.
  16. Amendment: The engine manufacturer for the first motorbike must be named as well as the country the engine was manufactured in.
  17. .....and this one! Oh yes! For this last one you must name the engine manufacturer!
  18. Why doesn't Brian get a quiz point?
  19. Just back from a holiday so nothing to report until tomorrow.
