  1. I like it. I will experiment with it and give you more constructive comments later!
  2. I have seen a couple of posts here that would be fun to answer but we can only PM. Just wanted to mention this! Unless you are Jaap, of course!
  3. I just had to check the site and they have a V-Rod for $274,950. I guess we can't complain about the price of the MGS!
  4. As I keep saying every time I make a reply "I may grow old but I will never grow up!". I wonder what Steve @#$$#! would make of this!. Six regional #1 plates in roadracing last year and he's in his fifties! I'll have to warn Jim Redman about that! Wait - he was winning races at Daytona in his sixties! Oh well, I'm only in my forties so maybe I should start racing again. THAT's what I'll do with the MGS when it arrives!
  5. It wouldn't have been popular on the farm I grew up on. My father put on a lot of rock festivals but the hippies would never show up! Then there was the fun of when a cow fell in the liquid manure sump and someone had to go in and put a halter on the beast! I CANNOT imagine paying to do that let alone what I would charge someone if I had to do it now. Now that being said, I suppose working on agricultural equipment when I grew up may explain why I have a Moto Guzzi and a Laverda. One made the Mule which was for farming as well as military and the other made combine harvesters. Both bikes are built like they were meant to pull a plough and are also fun and easy to work on. They both also have roots in aviation and that is a connection I do like!
  6. We have pinheads here? They are? Thankyou. Now I understand!
  7. This is a Ner-A Car! The other one is a Megola!
  8. You should try aviation! Everything relative to operating the aircraft is from the pilots seat point of view. Everything relative to maintenance is from the engineers point of view which is looking at the aircraft from the front. Also the engineers view isn't necessarily right and left. Sometimes it is no. 1 and no. 2! Great for cofusing new co-pilots and apprentices!
  9. Adolph Galland and Douglas Bader!
  10. Gee Antonio. I can't find that first word in my Italian dictionary! Lucky for me I grew up in Ontario (a good Italian name, no?) and the town where I grew up was about 35% Italiano. I learned that word when I was 5 yrs old. Lucky you were kidding my friend!! I did laugh!
  11. Got in a half hour on the WR and then the other half needed me and my truck! Why on the first nice day?
  12. Lucky b&*#@%^d! That is the performance ECU that makes your Staintunes work even better! Glad to hear you got it and ENJOY!
  13. He probably did but since the game originated in Canada and the version shown is following the original Canadian rules he assumed it was as boring as all other Canadian basketball. If it was a video of Canadian football where the guys take the girl and kick her through a set of uprights then he may have been more excited!
  14. Per favore Antonio come è il mio Italiano? Il mio amore Marie dice ciao anche.
  15. Don't say anything bad about Solex or Tex will have yer guts fer garters!
  16. 90% there? For me that means I would buy the bike and a whole bunch of accessories too! 100% means I would buy the bike and a new Breva 750! Of course I'm at 110% and I'm waiting for my MGS! Get out there and get it, my friend!
  17. I was thinking of 'Cafe Con Leche' but I don't know! With all my carbon fibre and the Rosso Mandello red maybe I should go for 'Caffe Nero Con Fuoco'.
  18. I'm waiting for the MGS to show up and if it has a GP shift pattern then I am converting all my bikes to that set up as well. My Laverda SFC is right side and reversible as well so i could get really confused if I don't standardize!
  19. You should have heard me when I was married to a girl from Kentucky! I'd meet someone and say "How y'all doin, eh?".
  20. OK! Now what the heck is this?
  21. Now what do I do? MGS or Griso? OK. Both!
  22. How many helicopter pilots does it take to change a light bulb? Two! One to mix the martini's and the other to call the mechanic! What did the helicopter pilot say to his date at midnight? Enough of talking about helicopters. Let's talk about me now! I could go on but I won't!
  23. Just curious but if the alignment of the cylinders defines whether an engine is longitudinal or transverse then conversely a V4 engine is not a V4 but a "square" engine (in fact there is a bike known as the Ariel 'square four' ). I am hoping to see Laverda's rectangular 6 in California this year, as well as Honda's MotoGP pentagon racer. (Forgive me Al, but I had to say something!)
  24. If you want a sidestand you can bid on this Centauro sidestand. ebay Speaking of Centauro's do you think I could put my V10 motor in one of those and have a SUPER SuperTwin?
  25. Will there be Guzzi Girls? If there is than you must take pictures. You must take pictures of Guzzi's anyways!
