I had no problem with the fit of my Stucchi but there was some weld spattered in the threads of the O2 sensor plug and I had to buy an 18mm tap to clean it out. All the rest was fine.
I have tried both the Mistral and the Stucchi but I also have FBF 11:1 pistons. The Mistral gives a bigger improvement in the 3500 to 5500 rpm range although the Stucchi does help there too. The Stucchi is a much better improvement for rpm's above 5500. Since the FBF pistons also fatten up the midrange a lot I prefer the Stucchi crossover as it gives me a much broader range of improvement. I can say I was happy with the Mistral but more happy with the Stucchi.
Well if you guys like rumours, I recieved an email from a friend in Switzerland who has a friend who is an engineer at Aprilia. The latest is the Cube will run MotoGP this year but Piaggio is considering a whole new MotoGP bike and the most popular idea is a V8. Shades of 1957?
I hear you and I would really like to comment but I see only one side of the picture and I would not be able to give a fair comment. I do know there is animosity between the two dealers and it is unfortunate but perhaps it is a part of the 'passion'!
I'm just glad that there are lots of Guzzi's on display at the bike show!!
More photo's after the show is over!
Well, I have the Rosso. Just have to get the MGS next.
The guy in the picture second from top, left side is a helicopter pilot who lives north of Sydney and works in Canada and the USA.
I will be at the Valley Moto Guzzi booth starting friday at noon. Guzzi Girls by about 5 o'clock but sorry - no MGS (just pictures). I will post pictures as the show goes on!
