  1. I'll be at the Valley Moto Guzzi booth around noon tomorrow but no Guzzi Girls til 5 oçlock. I will have my laptop with wireless there so I will post pictures rapidly!
  2. Welcome aboard Frankie and thanks for bringing two cool bikes with you!
  3. Same from me! By the way - great day for a birthday Michael. One day before mine!!
  4. The Dutch make cheese. The Belgians make bakelite. Go figure....
  5. I just recieved an email that was meant for this thread! I want to share it with you all. If A Dog Was the Teacher If a dog was the teacher you would learn stuff like: When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy. When it's in your best interest, practice obedience. Let others know when they've invaded your territory. Take naps. Stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily. Thrive on attention and let people touch you. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back and make friends. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough. Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
  6. Try sending it at a lower resolution and you may have better luck. P.S. I can't wait to see what Tex makes of the 'orifice' on the seat!
  7. If it ain't broken don't fix it. If it ain't brakin' - fix it!
  8. We're always hearing about girl's rules on dating, girl's rules on marriage, girl's rules on this, that and the other thing. Now it's our turn ! Guy's Rules: 1. Learn how to operate the toilet seat. You're a big girl now. If it's up, you put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us whine because you leave it down, do you ? And don't forget we also need to put it down sometimes, and we do it without over-exerting ourselves or getting frustrated. 2. Good weather = bike riding! It's like the full moon or tides. Deal with it ! 3. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we will never see it that way. 4. Crying is blackmail. 5. Ask what you want. Subtle hints don't work. Obvious hints don't work. Just say it strait out ! 6. Yes and No are perfectly reasonable answers to almost any question. 7. Come to us with a problem only if you want our help solving it. That is what we do. Sympathy is what you have friends for. 8. A headache that lasts 17 months is a problem. See a doctor. 9. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, anything after 7 days is null and void. 10. If you don't dress like a Victoria's Secret model, don't expect us to act like the guys in soap operas. 11. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us. 12. If something we say can be interpreted in two ways, and one of those ways upsets you, we meant the other one. 13. You may either ask us to do something or tell us how you'd like it done, but not both. If you already know the best way to do it, do it yourself. 14. At all times, please say all that you've got to say during commercials. 15. Christopher Columbus didn't need any help to find his way, and niether do we. 16. ALL men see in 16 colors, like Windows default colors. Peach, for example, is a fruit, and so is Pumpkin. We don't have a clue what Mauve is. 17. If it itches, it will be scratched. Period. 18. If we ask you what's wrong and you reply "Nothing", we will assume nothing is wrong. We know you're lying, but it's not worth the effort to insist. 19. If you ask a question you don't want answered, expect an answer you don't want to hear. 20. When we go out, anything you wear is OK. Really. 21. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you're willing to discuss subjects like motorcycles, sex, hockey, sex, football, or sex. Did I mention sex ? 22. You have enough clothes. 23. You have too many shoes. 24. I am in shape. Round is a shape. 25. Thank you for reading this. Yes, we know we'll be sleeping on the couch tonight, but did you know it really doesn't bother us ? It's like camping out... Please pass this on to as many men as possible to make them laugh. Please also pass this on to as many women as possible to educate them !!!
  9. Do they come in carbon fibre?
  10. The red bikes hugger doesn't look so bad on a bike with more carbon fibre but i agree it does look a little quirky. I like the front fender on the Scura. i wonder where you get one of those? Same with the rear hugger? Must contact Tramas!
  11. Plus a voltmeter doesn't need heavy guage wire to give accurate readings (if by chance the heavy guage wire for an ammeter shorts out you will have serious electrical damage).
  12. Done!
  13. Are you suggesting that some of us think?
  14. Thank God you explained that to him in plain English! I was wondering how we could get it through to him! All is right now. Tex rules!!!!
  15. I wasn't really gonna call him but leave me your number and I'll make your life interesting! P.S. You can PM me if you want some "real" fun!
  16. OK so I have the clothes done and my daughter has her new 'stripper' boots to go with them (by the way she doesn't think they are stripper boots but when you see them ......well you know!). So we are getting the bikes ready to go tomorrow for the show and then we wait for you to come! I will have Guinness for the ones who need it and Old yale Pale Ale for the rest. if you don't like it well they have swill at the beer garden! Pictures will be coming soon. I will take LOTS of pictures and show all to who are interested!
  17. This is so exciting. I have been following this thread on the edge of my seat for some time and I have no response that I feel is worthy. I feel like I am in a university engineering class and all I want to do is listen and learn. I just want to add at this time that this is my most fascinating thread (after the MGS-01 when?) and I have been printing out most of the replies because this is the most amazing stuff. By the way, I am excited that a newcomer like Moto comes along and has such a strong reply. I do not have a personal response but I can't wait to hear what comes next. Also I have some of Cliff's gear that I am going to try as soon as the weather permits and all the stuff I printed out just gives me more fuel for the fire. I can't wait till I feel qualified to reply to this thread with something constructive!!!!
  18. I should do that. I don't know Docc and I don't think he knows me. What better than some crazy fool Canuck calling some strange Texan doctors office just to say 'Hi'.
  19. I like that shop. the scooters are cool and everone should have one of those Benelli's as a play bike. Have you checked out the Daytona for sale?
  20. I must agree with you. I love hockey and I love a good series but I know that since the Americans have their hands in it it is no longer a game! Hence my joy at seeing my countries Junior team do so well because they are the innocents and are the basis of what is to come! My apologies to all Americans who love hockey because I know that it isn't just the Yankee bosses who control it but it feels like it to us Canucks!
  21. Hey Cliff I'm still with ya! It has been minus 2 to 4 degrees here so not much I can report but I have not been swayed. I have my V10 now too so there are more possibilities and my friend Richy wants to check out tuneboy for his TT600. Will be in touch when the weather allows! Jim
  22. I would support my local team too but since there is no NHL there is only the World Junior Championships and since the Canadian team is TEN times better than any other team I know they don't need my support!!!
  23. Hey! If it's not too much to ask, what team have you worked for to learn all this. It sounds like an interesting experience. I would really like to learn some of this hands on, real life tuning stuff. I know it is not easy to share but I am interested!
  24. Tex should be able to translate this one. He is the "neck" specialist!
  25. Yes but I can't remember the weights. I weighed them to see if they were equal in weight and they were but the exact number I cannot remember. I do recall they were almost the same weight as stock though.
