  1. Way to go Tx!
  2. Havn't heard from Dagmar in awhile. The username debidaph is a little suspect but I am afraid to ask.
  3. I have to agree with Al. I have the use of a copy at Valley Moto Guzzi in Chilliwack and it is invaluable. Perhaps the only complaint would be the need to divide the sections better to separate the different models. Nitpicking!
  4. Try this Enzo. It should take you straight through dlaings site to the shop manual. Shop Manual
  5. I wait for Goffredo and Francesco to respond!
  6. Try dlaings website. It has a good link to shop manuals! V11sixspeedsite
  7. Curious to know what the limited edition certificates say on them. The numbered bikes had the VIN # and the limited #. How could it be a limited Rosso Mandello without a serial number? I can try and scan my certificate to show what the numbered models have.
  8. No but I have some old biscuit tins I can cut up to make one. I will send pictures.
  9. We need some sound bytes posted! A comparison of many types!
  10. Perhaps they are thinking of a road legal bike with the twin sparkplug engine? It would be a great bike but i still like the underseat exhaust!
  11. Stop it. I've already spent enough on my V11 without looking at that website!!
  12. The MGS has a ram air intake under the triple clamps and uses the main spine of the frame to duct air to the airbox. The intake is barely visible in most pictures.
  13. Unless you have a PCIII tucked in there too. Then the space gets cut back a bit.
  14. I like these sliders but they are a little obtrusive. I would like to see something like Ghezzi & Brians 4V sliders. Check page 6 of this catalogue. G&B
  15. Keep that up and Tex is right!
  16. It's gotta be under the tail but maybe being a test mule it was a quick and easy way to make it quiet. We'll flood them with emails if they try to make the street version with the low pipe!
  17. Michael Schumacher - Italian car racer Michael Schenker - Italian bike racer? More secrets.....
  18. I echo Brians sentiments. I have a cheaper (but I hope just as safe) for track days. In case of a spill I don't want my nice Arai RX7RR all scuffed up. The Arai has about 100 times the use of the cheaper helmet yet the cheaper helmet has had the chin strap hardware come off and the lining (as Brian notes) has a habit of becoming misaligned as I put it on. I vote the extra bucks for the quality of use. My Arai is plain black and cost 800 Cdn and the cheaper one 550 Cdn. They both have the same Snell safety rating.
  19. Antonio. Maybe YOU have been into the monosodiumglutamate!
  20. By the way AL, I hadn't forgotten you or all the others. Just not enough space for everyone!
  21. Good on ya, mate! There shouldn't be anyone offended by the banter on this site! I find it the most civilized forum I have ever followed and if we didn't present our opinions in as fine a manner as folks like Janusz or Steve G or Brian Robson or Antonio or Jaap or even Tx Redneck then I wouldn't be here writing this! This makes it all worthwhile. I'm glad we can butt heads over a topic like this and maybe learn a little about ourselves in the process. I want to be able to say what I think and then hear what everyone else thinks without belittlement or derision. I make a toast to the best forum on the net! To the V11Lemans forum, I say 'Salute!'
  22. Sorry Al. I can't remember. It must have been the Vino Rosso!!!!
  23. Thankyou Antonio! I find eating chinese food laced with msg keeps me awake at night and so did that post! When the heck are we going to see these scanned photos?
  24. I checked your 1 - 2 - 3 and found your technique. It is not a list of benefits. It seems your benefits are personal satisfaction and possibly less false neutrals. I have had no false neutrals since installing the ergal shifter kit from Guzzi and I get my personal satisfaction from wheelies and burnouts. I do applaud your opinion, however I myself do not see any benefits beyond personal satisfaction.
  25. Janusz, I agree with you completely but for many riders it is easier to shift properly with the clutch than without. As long as you do shift properly - either way - I don't see a benefit of one over the other.
