  1. OOOOOOH! I guess you don't have a Rosso Mandello.
  2. Perhaps you could buy a lathe and come up with a toothed belt conversion? Let us know if you have any luck!
  3. Is that a challenge?
  4. This may sound unusual coming from someone who loves wheelies and burnouts but I don't see any need for clutchless shifts. I know that done properly there is little or no chance of hurting the transmission but I do not see any benefit from the technique (as opposed to the vast and immense benefits of wheelies and burnouts!). Perhaps in circumstances of competition where tenths of a second matter I could see the need but not for everyday riding. If you wish to utilize this technique for your own pleasure then good on ya, mate!
  5. I found a dealer that has more than one MGS-01 for sale. I checked their price and I may order more than one! Urbano International
  6. Good way to trace the leak is to clean and dry it thoroughly and dust it with talcum powder. Any leaks will then be much easier to spot!
  7. Stopped at the Guzzi shop in Chilliwack yesterday and noticed they have 3 different tank bags for sale - 2 of wich will fit the V11!! (one is the bag wich Al has pictured) Asked about strap protection and he reccomended clear mactac tape. Gord uses it with his own v11 and has not a single mark from the bag.
  8. What I have heard is there are more buyers than there are MGS's. How true this is will be seen in the next month. Still not sure how many are coming to USA but I am still hoping that there is one at least coming to Canada.
  9. Antonio! You had better straighten this guy out!!!
  10. Perhaps I should clarify. The approval is for my daughter to model at the bike show - not for the clothes. THAT would be tough!
  11. Am I that transparent?
  12. Duh! Secede!! Not Freudian - Macchiavellian!
  13. I wonder what tires come standard on the MGS?
  14. I will - but not for a few weeks. Out of town flying right now. How about some biker chick photo's. Warning - there is some frontal nudity!!!
  15. My drooling will be contained to the MGS. However, I expect a lot of drooling over my daughter. Perhaps I shall bring a tazer!
  16. That may be how you look but that is sometimes how I feel. Maybe its not the camera!!
  17. I understand that all the bikes MGNA sells meet CA specs - including the ones imported to Canada. That is why we all tend to remove the emissions crap and complain about the stumble in throttle response around 4000-5000 rpm. I really wish California would succeed from the Union and make life a lot easier for the rest of us!!!!
  18. That's like saying "but....there's the wife....". It sort of sounds like a curse - no matter how hard you try to talk it up!!!!
  19. I have received all my kit from Cliff but I am away flying right now. I will be back soon and it will be a priority to test it all! The V11 forum will be first in line (after Cliff) to hear all about it.
  20. I got a big flat spot on the middle of the tire! Too many burnouts I guess.
  21. So my bike is a Rossa Rosso Mandello? I must learn to speak Italian. It is such an exciting language.
  22. My Rosso Mandello rocks!!!!
  23. My bid was in a year ago and it had better be locked in! On another note, my daughter helped me pick out some Guzzi Girl clothes for the bike show! The wife even approves! Hope to have some hotties there as I pick up MY MGS-01!
  24. Doesn't liquid cooling allow the engine to run at higher temperatures with better control of temperature variations?
