  1. Those engines are hot!
  2. For some people the thoughts that suspension specifications could differ from year to year can be surprising. I suspect Antonio is one of these people.
  3. How I wish I could say the same. I stand corrected, my friend. But when the day comes I hope we can go play!
  4. Cheers on choosing a great bike! Sorry to hear of your woes! There is an un-named dealer in Chilliwack that doesn't screw people and gives great service. They also have an un-named mechanic who is very dedicated to Moto Guzzi! He is awesome! If you need any advice they can help lots. Send me an email and I will get you hooked up if you wish. P.S. Did you ever pound rocks in northern BC or Yukon? Spent ten years flying your kind!
  5. I wonder if DynoTech will do the motor?
  6. Oh yeah? We'll just have to race sometime (if I get my MGS)!
  7. Yup! The ramparts are the parts where ya ram them!
  8. No - you are thinking of sloth and homophobia! They run rampant in trailer parks!
  9. I am looking forward to talking to Zebulon and Paul Minnaert when I get my V10! They have such awesome bikes and I want to learn from them!
  10. Oh Yes! I will be checking out the Griso and I will put my V10 engine in if they don't have the 4 valve engine!!
  11. Hello Zebulon My local dealer has said the MGS will arrive in America in December and come to Canada for the January bike show. It will be mine (I hope). Plus I think I have 2 Guzzi Girls lined up so far but I want at least three!! P.S. Price will be about 24.000 Euro!
  12. No. He took a wrong turn on the Zuider Zee and ended up in the northeast corner of Scotland. Changed his name I think......!
  13. Try a Harley shop for crinkle paint. They also sell crinkle paint cleaner. They probably charge 5 times what it is worth though!
  14. I blame it all on Jan de Groot!
  15. From Helicopterjim To Dr Gil Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!!!!!!!
  16. Yeah. I know. I've been told before that my girlish figure is just a figure of speech! Go figure!
  17. I knew I was drunk the day I ordered those pegs! Anyways, I ordered them from the local Guzzi dealer and 2 weeks later there they were! Love them - plus I can polish the stock set up and sell them for lots to offset the cost!
  18. Well how about that! Way more Guzzi pictures posted on some other forum than we have here! What's up with that? Somebodies gotta have some more Guzzi pictures from the show!!!
  19. I'll get you a picture if you like. They are the factory pegs and are quite expensive (I cannot remember the price offhand). Here is the link for the MGNA site. Factory Footpegs They are moderately adjustable in a circular pattern. They can go up, back, down or forward and the toe piece is also adjustable in a similar manner. What I like most besides the safety factor is that since installing them over a year ago the bike shifts much smoother and i rarely ever find any false neutrals. before installing them I found neutral all too often - usually going into 4th
  20. Mine come from spending Christmas and Hogmanay on a farm outside of Peebles. I fell in the burn while walking/staggering from 'hoose tae hoose'. Next morning my Uncle asks me "Who's yer heed, Laddie". I didn't have a clue what he was saying. It was one of the best holidays I've ever had.
  21. Many people wish this was true! Unfortunately that is for bikes with pegs low enough to actually touch down. On the V11 the sidestand on the left and the exhaust on the right will touch down long before the pegs. All those superbikes and MotoGP bikes all have solid mounted footpegs. I added solid mounted pegs (actually complete pegs and gearchange/brake kit) to my bike. One reason is they are adjustable and the bike shifts much, much better but a main reason is that if my bike has a tip over accident or a low speed low side the footpegs, cylider guards and bar ends will take most of the load and damage. As for why they have folding pegs? I really don't know. Perhaps it is just what most people expect and accept.
  22. What the hell are forum peeps? Anyways, hello there! Welcome! Do you have any good Guzzi tattoo's? I've seen a few but I'm working on one I like. I hope to have it done by Christmas.
  23. Oh aye, laddie! And we'll no forget tae git lots o' tattoo's!
  24. I'm still working on the Guzzi Girls but I have one for sure and we are going to check out some skin tight clothes this week. Will keep everyone posted!
  25. Now THAT sounds like fun. There will be a feature on us in Streetfighter magazine and guys will want t-shirts that say Guzzi Goons or something inane like that! And this is what this thread started for!!!! It seems that 2005 could be a very fun year!
