The Stradavarious Riders from the British Columbia lower mainland now have a forum for organizing their rides and events. I suggest anyone from British Columbia, Washington and even Idaho or Oregon should check in to see whats up. So far its a bit low key but we have lots of ideas for the rest of the year!
SRADAVARIOUS
There is a ride this Sunday, May 2 from Sumas/Abbotsford down through Washington state to Acme and then over to the coast!
Black and Gold - nice but like a late 70's ducati.
Green and gold - nice - i like the Centauro green.
Orange - I have an SFC.
I liked the pearl and gold combo you showed earlier but sometimes the correct pearl can be very expensive.
Erik Buell has been looking after Erik Buell Racing and many other projects (including some major engine work on one of the Danish Nimbus' travelling around the world). He has managed to keep the rights to the Buell frame as well.
Here is a quote from his Facebook page:
From some of the projects he is working on it sounds like he is coping well with his "retirement".
PS. At least we can say the Buell didn't beat any Guzzi's!!
Where's Ratchehack when we need him. He could have given a twelve page dissertation on how the addition of a steering damper to the Tonti bikes could have solved all the worlds problems - except global warming - which doesn't exist!
If there were a fatal disease that would strike 1 out a 1000 people, and a person decided to get tested for the disease and the test were 99% accurate, and the person tested positive, most people would be pretty certain they were going to die.
I heard a guy the other day bragging that his Harley was so great and so reliable. Then he said that 98% of Harley's are still on the road. His friend replied that that means only 2% of them made it home! Almost spit out my beer trying not to laugh.
Anyone else got some great examples of interpreting statistics? My favourite goes like this:
90% of all drivers believe they are better drivers than 90% of all drivers!
Cheers
