  1. Ahhh but that is not an original scope. This would be it - after looking harder. Remember too Ryan that if you have no bullets your gun is a stick so we can all have fun!!!
  2. I see we share the same library. 1935 was the year. I think my next quiz may have to be about icecream makers or something like that.
  3. Model, year, motor and driver.
  4. Yeah but you was thinkin' about it!!! PS sorry the only picture I could find was from a game site.
  5. I'll be searching for a part number for an aircraft flush hinge for inspection doors soon. I reckon with a very fine drill I can cut an inspection door in the fairing and with flush rivets hardly anyone will see it - except maybe Ratchet's 'ol man but I bet if you put a quarter in the slot he'll at least read you your horoscope if not tell you the oil level!!
  6. Make, model, year and engine.
  7. Brilliant idea!! We could always use another oil thread! How do you check the oil on a Norge by the way!!
  8. Not the best in the world but this is my favourite and it works on neighbours near and far!!
  9. Model, years of manufacture and customer!
  10. In the immortal words of Crocodile Dunbar " That's not a knife!". These are knives!
  11. Calling all BC Stradavariants!!! I talked to assorted Guzzi riders at the bike show (where were you Eugene? There are some nice cozy bed and breakfasts near Abbotsford you could have taken the wife to and she would have let you sneak away for at least a couple of hours!!) and many of them indicated that they would like to get together for a spring bike ride. I thought of the variations in BC roads and I know that road is strada in Italian so I figured we could assemble a goup of us for a spring Strada Various ride! My idea is meeting early on a saturday morning and putting a good days ride followed by a BBQ afterwards. My friend Cory has offered to provide his large back yard for the BBQ and I will check out some accomodation rates and arrange bike parking and transport for anyone who wishes to have a few drinks and stay overnight in Chilliwack. I have 3 nice one day rides planned and I am open to suggestions for more. I also have ideas for some 2 day rides as well but I think a one day trip is suitable for a first time group ride. The first option is meeting at Harrison Hot Springs for coffee and then the ride would be to Hope, Lytton, Merritt, Princeton and returning to Chilliwack. This trip is 531 km. The second ride would depend on the date of the ride as conditions are not always good in the springtime. It would be same start point then off to Lytton, Lilloett, Pemberton then turn around and retrace the route. I do not enjoy the Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler part of this ride. This trip is 633 km. The third ride would be Harrison to Lytton, Lilloett, Cache Creek, Logan Lake, Merritt and Chilliwack. This trip is 590 km. This ride isn't just for BC riders either. I know there are many Stradavarians in Washington as well and all are welcome!! If anyone has any input into the trips and has suggestions for a date please feel free to comment. If feedback is positive I may have a poll then and start planning the details! If anyone feels this is the basis for forming an official club then we could arrange a meeting before the BBQ!
  12. Were you sent there as punishment? Welcome aboard and enjoy!!
  13. Welcome and enjoy, Dimitris. Many good friends visit here!
  14. This is exactly what an old friend and renowned Ducati tuner learned with Ducati bevel engines. He found that adding material (and removing a bit in other places) dramatically increased the power output. This bike went on to win the BOTT title in 1988 I believe. Unfortunately there are obvious limitations encountered from adding material so not often are the gains very large. His only other success with this method was with Formula Ford motors in the late 1980's. Perhaps I shall send him a Guzzi head if I find one and see what he can uncover!!
  15. I think you would like the bike cosiderably more than the poster. Trust me. I know!
  16. I remember the original version of that study. It truly was a National Film Board short that was meant to scare us 1970's era teenagers with the evils of drug use! There were lots of jokes back then about wich spider made the coolest web. I think the peyote spider made the best web! That was back in the day when they brought a movie projector into the classroom to show us cool propaganda!
  17. Uhhh, that could be too much information. I hope your talking about your bike!
  18. I might let you push it ....
  19. .... and I was thinking of offering a couple of laps on the MGS to whoever travelled the farthest.
