  1. Piaggio will have a booth this year featuring Moto Guzzi and Aprilia on one half and some kind of scooter stuff on the other half. I have volunteered to staff the good side for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My MGS will also be on display so it should be the best display for Guzzi in a long time!! Anyone looking to meet other Guzzi folk can stop by and leave their name and number and we can try to organise a time we can all join up or we can try and plan a time through the forum as Van has suggested as well! I look forward to seeing everyone!!
  2. Wait 'til dlaing sees this!! I am also enjoying the new GuzziTech website very much!!
  3. Nawww? You wouldn't get me up in that bucket of bolts!! Actually they are a fun old helicopter to fly. These guys had some bad luck but from what I heard the helicopter suffered more later when it fell off the truck!! I'll be working the Guzzi booth at the bike show and my MGS will be on display as well. Should I keep it gassed up and the battery charged?
  4. I love it!! Speed up in the corners, slow down on the straight aways! Beautiful stuff Todd!
  5. NICE!!! I may be up all night watching that one - slap! - ohh maybe not!!
  6. A True Canadian It's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to him is empty. He leans over and asks his neighbour if someone will be sitting there. "No," says the neighbour. "The seat is empty." "This is incredible", said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for final game of the Stanley Cup playoffs and not use it?" The neighbour says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Stanley Cup we haven't been to together since we got married in 1967." "Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?" The man shakes his head "No. They're all at the funeral."
  7. E'specially if it's Revenue Canada. Of course I wouldn't want to be a relative of yours then.
  8. I believe in the adage that "He who lives with the most toys wins!!"
  9. It is smaller and so now I am looking for V11 headlight brackets (they may work) or else having some custom brackets made for the Centauro. I am not overly impressed with the beam spread on the centauro light as well as now I have found the metal shield over the bulb has dropped off. Surgery required!!
  10. Some thoughts on bread .... After you break it, who fixes it? Be gentle to your bread.
  11. It is a little early to commit but I have put it on my calendar and will definnitely be thinking about it!
  12. We don't even pay 26 bucks up here in the great white north!! Good to hear from ya TX!!!!
  13. You're pretty determined to get our attention, aren't you.
  14. I have one I will try to fit on my Centauro. I'll see how it lines up with the V11 unit.
  15. That thing looks heavy enough to snap your wrist!! Pretty cool though. All the girls will think you are a pilot now!
  16. You guys are just jealous 'cause you don't got one!! I bought mine in 1978 and I have enjoyed having it ever since! By the way, I didn't pay $35,000 dollars for it then. Not even 1/10 of that. Nyaa nyaa na na naaa!
  17. Zero degrees, snowed this morning, raining now. It's like this.
  18. The price for SFC's has been around $25,000 US lately so if you want one for 5k then you had better find 4 likeminded partners and be prepared to share. Check out this link if you want to know more about the SFC 750. SFC This quote from the end of the story you may find interesting. I'm sure Steve G will want to know where a 5k SFC could be found!!
  19. 2002 V11 LeMans $9,500 Cdn or best offer 22,000 kilometres Guzzi tank bag Tekno saddle bags Fresh tire on front (less than 1000 km) Recently serviced by Valley Moto Guzzi of Chilliwack For sale by a friend of mine not on the forum. PM me or email helicopterjimhotmailcom
  20. Then you might need some of this ....
  21. B@stard! You see right through me! Tell that to all the competitors in endurance racing in the early 70's. They'll tell you there was a lot of sliced mustard back then and the knife had an orange handle. My SFC managed 138 mph on radar in 1982.
  22. Nine bids, 3 bidders and the final sale price is ....... US $35,250.00 Nice!
  23. I did some checking with some racer friends and they have heard the same story. Pazzo is gearing up to make a run of Brembo levers this spring. They will be common to most modern Brembo equipped bikes that don't have the radial type master cylinder as on the Ducati 999, the latest Aprilias or the MGS. They already have a lever for these bikes but it sounds like the demand for our style lever is great enough we'll have some soon!
  24. I might be looking for a cheap track bike Ryan. Just kidding but I am glad she is back together and I hope she runs great. You can always come to Chilliwack if you need some great dealer service!! I'll buy the coffee!
