  1. SIGN ME UP! I may need a sidecar for my bike so I don't fall over when I stop but I'll be there! St Mary's Loch. Some fine lowland whisky used to come from near here.
  2. If you want real ram air put a blower on your bike!
  3. Is there a filter that you prefer to use? Do you remove the sump pan for oil changes? I have also used a hose clamp for safety but closer to the end of the filter and then lock wired the filter but that is for oil changes without removing the sump pan. I am thinking your method is much more efficient. Thanks. Jim
  4. Found this whilst looking for some Guzzi bike videos. It is quite enjoyable and you will find there are some actual bike video links off to the side! Enjoy!! Guzzi Girls!
  5. I have been looking at getting one of these but I don't know if I can justify the cost. If it can be adapted to everyday use and not just for biking I can see it being invaluable but I just don't know. Wireless Banality Blocker (thankyou George)
  6. I've lost a lot more friends to helicopter crashes than to motorcycle crashes. Everyone of them was flying or racing by choice. When we don't have a choice then it can be the end of an era.
  7. Ahhhh! I feel better now!!
  8. Why does this link say the constitution is in English (in brackets)? Is the Texas constitution available in other languages? I looked for links but was unaible to find any. Can you assist us in our endeavours?
  9. This is my choice for " post of the year " !! I hope that everone would like for this to be the best that the forum has to offer for the next generation!!
  10. Yo tambien!! Thanks Ryan!!
  11. I found this on the Centauro forum and maybe you have seen it on the Wild Guzzi forum. (from Graham) I thought Daniel Craig was the next James Bond!
  12. Moto Guzzi's 'Grand Quirk' is that it exists! Period!
  13. It has been mandatory since the late 60's for much of the forests in Canada and most TFL's (Tree Farm Licences or logging tenures) have required it since 1949 but it wasn't strictly enforced until the 1970's. I don't know about the US.
  14. I'd log my own backyard if their were enough tres. Then replant!!
  15. I havn't had any for so long I can not even remember what it is!!!!
  16. For what I have checked into it is not that complicated. PM me if you want some advice. I don't have a hate on for the one dealer left but I have a hate on that the other dealer is no more. I have spoken to the one vice-president and recieved most excellent lip service but I don't do politics. I believe in time will heal and I am sending emails to the same effect. I believe in choice and my choice is easy. Bring me bikes to the good dealers or I'll buy my own from another country. I do know the rules and we can buy a Guzzi in the USA and bring it home no problem but it sure hurts the new importers. If they only knew why ....!
  17. Well, it's about fucking time someone sorted this thread out. Will it be a moderator or someone who cares - or does anyone care? I don't have to know because I am away and too busy but perhaps someone knows what to do with this thread!! Sorry!! I did not know that this forum allowed swearing! I thought it would be automatically deleted. My apologies!!
  18. Isn't that a Hawkwind song ....?
  19. My sentiments exactly. Although if I feel the need to buy a new bike I'll go to Seattle!! What pisses me off is I met the vice president at the bike show and when he asked me what bikes I had and I came to the MGS he said "Ah yes we have a few of them racing here in Canada". I said I think I have the only one he looked at me like I was an idiot and said we can have as many as we want. I realise now that we are dealing with idiots who see only what they want to see and not reality. If they only knew that I would spend as much money as I do they would think twice about their customers.
  20. It sure isn't like working for a living! I'll send some PM's when i get back and see what i can arrange. If anything productive happens I'll let you all know!
  21. Not in my books mate! Especially with your taste in whisky!! Cheers Jim
  22. Looks like I'll be needing at least 3 then for the North America run. Keep us posted for that round!!
  23. Bugger! I'm leaving tonight to go flying for 2 weeks. All the fun stuff happens when I'm away! Maybe next time!
  24. Uhhhh ........ could you repeat that? I missed part of it! (Actually well said. I reckon I could get the job done following your instructions) I wonder if tthe sloppage sheet will work for the MGS?
