  1. I certainly will. I have not spoken to him directly but my race friend says he expects to have a Brembo brake lever sometime this spring or summer.
  2. He is working on one now. My friend uses them on his Kawa race bike and they are verrrrry nice. I have put in for some of the first Brembo sets but they usually come out one side at a time.
  3. I agree but 122 hp is enough too!
  4. I got it through Valley about 5 years ago. Don't know if they can still get them. Did you see the one that Princess Auto has for 599? It is hydraulic but from what I've seen is a pretty good lift. Probably Chinese as well.
  5. I have the same one Steve. It came from Quebec but I don't know if it was made there. Never trust the tire clamp but you can secure the bike with it and feel safe to leave it for a moment while you get tie downs on it. It is a great lift but make sure nothing is stuck underneeth it when you lower it. I have a friend who dumped the lift and bike on its side because a tire had tipped over and went under it.
  6. Frankie Chili. What a man!!
  7. For me to consider getting a second bike I would have to sell six bikes first. It all depends on what you want it for. Do you want to play, cruise or what? The supermotard idea is a lot of fun - so is a street legal enduro - so is a straight touring bike - so is a hooligan bike - so is a retro racer - and so on and so on and so on ....
  8. So was I until I found out that they don't have a 160 profile (I have an early V11 with 4.5 inch rim) so I am going to try plain Diablo's.
  9. Kudo's to Ben for the details on the 'new' forks!!!
  10. We have a winner!!! I did not expect in to take this long but I hope it was a good quiz!! I may try more like this one!!
  11. British physics conforms to the rules of another universe.
  12. Well I can at least say the video is 'well done'!!
  13. Getting warmer as BFG would say but his clues don't necessarily lead you to an answer.
  14. .... wheelie pics!!
  15. Unless you can come up with a picture proving me wrong - no! I like the pipes on the GTC though ...
  16. I've been trying that for some time now!! How did you get her to the trough (no pun intended for any woman)?
  17. Ben. Do you feel comfortable that the bike you have pictured is a 1939 model? You are the quizmaster so we can not doubt you but I don't want you to be mistaken!!
  18. I spent most of yesterday test flying a bell 214. Main rotor vibration problem so it was start up, hover for 3 minutes, land and shut down. Twenty minutes later it was do it all again. Quite boring really so I took some Centauro parts with me and had them cleaned and bead blasted to be ready for painting!! Today we will be working on the forward flight program which culminates in a high speed, low pass of the hangar at about 175 mph. Not at all boring!!
  19. I've met Steve. He ain't no American and he is not an Australian and he may be considered 'unusual' as a Canadian but he does have a Laverda so he's alright in my books!!
  20. A good start. At least everyone is guessing Guzzi's. One of the guesses is the right model but still looking for the right year!!
  21. .... and Dickie Dale is the man riding it on the famous sound clip of the V8.
  22. You are probably very right from a typical street riders perspective and from a racers perspective it would be on lots of bikes if it made a difference (although Paul mcMillan thought it did) but there are a lot of riders who only consider glitz, bling and 'I'm more technical than you' so there just may be a market for it!!
