  1. I am close to getting my Centauro back on the road and as I have 2 gas tanks for it now (the original was really marked up) I may take the duff tank and glue a tank bag base directly to it and dispense with any straps and such. If I am going for a long trip who cares what it looks like. As to what tank bag I'll use I'll probably find the one that will fit best whilst glued down!!
  2. What year and model did the first 'upside down' forks appear on a Moto Guzzi? If this one makes it to a stumper I should deserve two!!
  3. Are you a Mike/Michelle Duff fan? That would be a biological correction!!
  4. Not that I remember on the race bikes. They were very favoured by the 2 riders who used them but only in sprint races as I recall.
  5. It is probably a Gilera 4 with some Italian rider!
  6. I am disappointed. BFG vollunteered a lot of information outside of the questions answered but he did not answer any of the questions that Mike Wilson hadn't already answered. Perhaps that means we all have a chance to repeat someone and get a point!
  7. Moto Guzzi V8 and Dickie Dale.
  8. I have to say that you deserve the point as you are the only one who has supplied all the correct answers necessary for the quiz. Everyone else has merely repeated parts of the answer. Unfortunately it seems the quizmaster has other ideas so I am very sorry that you have not recieved the point you deserve.
  9. It isn't new. Keith Harte ran something similar back in the early 80's on his racing Pantah's. Paul McMillan said it really changed the way the bike leaned into corners, the braking was more sensitive and stronger and it also seemed to have a bit of anti-dive effect . Unfortunately it was protested so they had to stop using it.
  10. Bullseye!! It is Orixa but who cares!! Point for grossohc. Well done!!! Too bad the stumper rules change from quiz to quiz. I could have had one here!!
  11. How come I gotta wait longer than BFG? This quiz has been out there longer than BFG's stumper!!
  12. I know now that if I ever go to York they will never know where my ancestors come from. I'll shoot them first!!
  13. I have a really nice couch but I have been sleeping on it a bit lately. Oh what the hell, come on down because I have 3 bikes insured and I can only ride one at a time!!! I'm not too far away in BC!!!
  14. Steve! I could call you lots of things but I would never call you an American! Does that mean I can't go to the Isle of Man?
  15. I reckon that none of you have a clue what this bike is. So bugger yah!! Give the right answer or piss off!! Is that plain enough?
  16. Well you did lead me to the correct answer but without you I would not have had the correct answer. I thank you very much and I am glad that you get the point for this Quiz!!
  17. I FEEL LIKE A PLAIN WANKER!! 73 years jail Potential fine: £7000 and I only masturbated once!!! i wanna go have some more fun!!!!
  18. Don't worry. You don't have to have the exact answer. You only have to be close and you will get the point!! Trust me!!
  19. OY!! I am an (unrecocnized) stumper before you were!!
  20. By the way this may be Bob's aviation site!! BobHannah.com
  21. Oh man. Now you know my secrat God. My first bike was a Sears Puch that I converted to a real Puch with Betor forks and such. I actually sent messages through Sears to Harry Everts and somewhere I have a reply!!! Now I have to go deep in the basement bits!!!
  22. Sounds like you've got a great ride there. I hope you spend lots of time riding both bikes and I hope to see some wheelie pictures soon. I am interested to hear your views on long distance handling. I tend to rate my V11 higher on open roads and my Ducati Monster higher on tight twisty roads.
