  1. What is the Irish connection to this bike?
  2. Good edit. I was trying to figure out a way to respond to that.
  3. Then there are the quiz's that no one gets. Is there a time limit or does the quiz maker get the point?
  4. MIVAL - Metalimeccanica Italiana Valtrompia Spa. of Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia. This scrambler was available with a 5 or 6 speed gearbox (unusual for that era). MIVAL still operates their machine tool business to this day having ended motorcycle production in 1967.
  5. You should get the point even if I did guess the correct name of the road. The question was where, not what the correct name is of the road. I didn't really think that it was the right answer at the time but it was a fun quiz!!
  6. We have a winner!! Now if someone can figure out what MIVAL stands for and find out the transmission options.
  7. No but the initials are right if dyslexic!
  8. I think there is one on the side too!
  9. You should not have edited! Keep going!!
  10. I would sell everything I have for an Egli-Vincent!!
  11. Cheers mate! Glad to have you aboard! There is a lot of good fun and knowledge here on this forum so poke away and see what you can find!! Good luck! Jim
  12. I am thinking of posting a quiz some time when I am really drunk. I have posted a lot of quiz's but how can I win one of my own? Even after a year someone else gets the point so maybe if I post one pissed I can qualify for guessing what I have no idea of posting!! Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  13. I'll bring my MGS and you can judge it the best in Canada and I'll be in a bar six blocks away and I won't complain one bit!! I know what you mean though. I was a director of the Ducati Owners Club of Canada in 1980 and the annual meating was the most bizarre and stressfull event at the time! The twins and singles shall never meet!! (but the movies I had were awesome - Hailwood and Agostini at there best!).
  14. What about the Twisted Edge? It is only British Columbia and Washington so far (and NorCal coming) but a great way to learn new roads! Everyone enjoy!
  15. Isn't there enough Aussies already? Oh well, they are kind of cute. Lets have another one!! Seriously I wish I was in OZ and all my bikes too. Talked to a good friend in Brisbane today and all I could hear was good biking weather. Somedays Canada sucks!
  16. Check my post! I knew that!
