  1. I'll have to send you some good whining pilot jokes!
  2. They are changing to Piaggio's system so that any Vespa, Aprilia, Guzzi etc dealer can access the same database. It should be interesting!
  3. Yaay!!! I want the Brough.
  4. Don't you?
  5. Ik houd van aan chitchat! Misschien ben ik een Nederlander!
  6. Grandpa? Is that you?
  7. If you mean the German model then take a look below the fairing and you will see a V11 type oil cooler. That frees up the fairing. The American one has the lights mounted in front of the oil cooler inside the fairing. I have purchased a Centauro oil cooler that I may build into a modified belly pan for mine.
  8. I can only wish I were going. I had a fantastic time 2 years ago but I'm stuck in Canada this time. I do have a friend who is going and I'm sure he'll let me know what I missed!!
  9. Today I was taking pictures of properties for sale. My wife is a realestate agent but I am usually assigned the technical stuff. I'll be shopping for kitchen cabinetry this afternoon to outfit the flat that we have built into our basement. It has been an expensive project but every dollar spent on it triples in increased value to our house and the rental income will be nice too. I hope to work on my Centauro tonight. I have repainted the front wheel and now I will assemble the front and work on the back wheel. I would like to have it completely done by April.
  10. That could never happen could it?
  11. You may find that a PCIII with the map from FBF wakes up your bike even more. I am glad I put the pistons in my bike and the PCIII made it work better.
  12. Pudding pots and Belstafs? I still wear them and I have a bowler, a balmoral and many others. I wear my kilt at least 3 times a year. Cowboy boots and a Biltmore too (a Stetson is a Cadillac but a Biltmore is a Bentley). I guess Guzzi's are much less common as well.
  13. Bloody heck!! I havn't been there in 10 years!! I was on a movie/kayaking expedition there in 1985 and I flew that whole canyon video taping the rapids at about 3 feet - both ways, except for one part that was too narrow even for a Hughes 500. Managed to work a bit there with BC hydro cleaning up and salvaging what was left from the massive camp of the early 80's. Parks would have had a fit if they knew how much we flew there .... A mad Aussi pilot? They're all mad but then there is Jim Reid the mad Kiwi and he's a great fellow! I must get together with you sometime to talk bush flying. I have about 10 years experience flying out of Dease Lake and Watson Lake. I will keep everyone posted on Moto International and Italian days is on calendar as well.
  14. I was able to get some information from Moto International about the open house this year. It seems that it may not happen. There is a bit of a squabble between the other two dealers who participate so it has been called off until that can be settled. If it is not settled Dave may host his own, albeit smaller open house. I hope to be informed of whichever way it goes.
  15. So now what? Do we bring up global warming or hawkwind now?
  16. I think it is Fathers Day which is June 18 so come on over. Keep in touch and we'll make sure you are well looked after.
  17. Did you let Paris wash your bike? That could fry several relays including some on the bike.
  18. Here are a couple of options for you to get your bike cleaned. Which one you choose is up to you .... Spicy Wash
  19. Oh no! Not again?!
