  1. When and where are these track days? I live near Vancouver but I would have to plan in advance to come to one.
  2. MY turn!! I am too lazy to read it all again so I just want to know what kind of filter you do use, Mr ratchethack? Has anyone ever noted in all these studies that they are mostly done under controlled conditions but seldom real life conditions? Try testing a paper element filter in high humidity conditions (ie. west coast of North America) and you will not want to use one ever again. They lose up to 40% flow capacity. That is why I prefer a filter like BMC or K&N because they work much better in the real world. Paper works great if you live in a dry environment like Arizona though. Someone said look at your K&N without oiling it and you will never use it. Agreed!! I will never use it without oiling it. The reason you oil it is to give it its filter qualities.
  3. NO WORDS - Pictures only!!
  4. I dare ya!!!!
  5. We must not forget Giovanni Ravelli!! Not a partner but an inspiration perhaps....
  6. Wow! What a read!! Does Enzo have any relatives in New Jersey?
  7. Ahhhh! I see it is not a cloaking device but instead a clever disguise. I would never expected TX to have a load of Harley engines. Watermelons perhaps but not Harley engines!
  8. I seems TX is using the Klingon cloaking device as I can't see what you are talking about! (maybe he's following his wife - I'd better watch behind me!!)
  9. He did quite well and looks to do even better this coming year. He was on the podium about six times and won one race. He team mate was Eric Bostrom this year and Ben Bostrom this next year. I expect they will both do quite well but both Honda and Suzuki will be putting more into their teams and bikes next year. It ain't the greatest series but having Neil there certainly takes it up a few notches!! AMA points 2005 Tell Neil he can come ride my MGS anytime!!!
  10. Agreed!! ...and well done!
  11. Jaap! BMG gets the bonus point! I am waiting for the finalization of the other point. It is still up for grabs if someone takes BMG's data and refines it!
  12. Hey!! That's Martin, not me!!
  13. Damn!! You are so close. However the one part about it being an acronym (except for the stated exception) is it must conform with the acronym. You are totally impressing me however...!! I hope that this does not allow someone else to sccop you. I'm cheering for you Ryan!!
  14. Whew! I was trying to sound positive but you had me wondering. I rechecked all my books again.
  15. OK. Amendment: ...the TWO that are not German or British.... Definitely not three!
  16. Please give the meanings of the following acronyms. Note that some have more than one meaning. All are required for the point! Hopefully this won't be a test of the quickest with a search engine. AJS AJW BAT - 2 answers (one is not an acronym) DKW - 3 answers KTM NSU NUT OEC SOS - 2 answers SWM TWN Bonus point for indicating the one that is not German or British plus the one that manufactured knitting machines before producing motorcycles. Time limit: Dec 19, 0001 Zulu (Greenwich Mean Time) (then I get the point if not answered correctly)
  17. Hi there, In a bit of a similar situation, Have been seeing this woman for a while now, the problem is she is married ! I know I shouldn't, but she is real nice and doesn't get any attention from her husband as she tells me he seems more concerned about his truck than his wife. A few days ago when I was dropping her off at her house after being out with her, (she told him she was out with the girls), I passed his truck and noticed his rear wheel arches were showing signs of rust. Here's MY dilemma ! Should I be honest and approach this guy and let him know what is going on? The rust treatment will cost him dearly! But the guy has a right to know about his arches, right?
  18. Looks like you get the point Jaap!!
  19. I enjoyed Liguria very much and the roads in the Parque Cinqueterre are absolutely incredible. I didn't have a bike but an Audi TT Roaster wich was a blast on the winding roads. If you go to there I strongly reccomend trying the seafood and limoncello. I loved driving any back road in Liguria and Tuscany. Have fun. I'll be going back!
  20. The heel brake lever is interesting. The exhaust pipe looks unusual also but I''m not at home so I don't have my books to compare it with other photo's. It seems to have a convex mirror on the side of the oil tank. I don't know what is special about this bike. Sorry.
  21. Well done all!! I have a friend who has a microbrewery so I have never had the desire to brew my own beer. I do appreciate the work in making beer (I have helped many times). Steve!! I hope to check out your brew someday. I'll make sure you have full access to Old Yale Brewing if you ever come to Chilliwack!!
  22. I hope you told her she could expect a lot of facials in Mexico!!
  23. Hey Jaap! Did anyone recieve a point for Quiz 29? If not then I guess I get the point, eh?
  24. I guess we will have to go early and pioneer a pub circuit for this race. I'm sure we can talk Ryan into it. Imagine what those UK blokes will think when they find out how much those Maritimers can drink. They'll be off to follow the next Salvation Army band!! I hope that in true Isle of Man tradition that they change the speed limits to match. I may have to take the MGS there.
  25. Come to Chilliwack. Maybe the 3 inches of snow will cushion your fall. I don't even want to ride my WR400 today...
