  1. I can't use Castrol R because it doesn't have a mil spec. The hydraulic fluid - mil spec 5606 - smells really nice when it drips onto a hot exhaust.
  2. Essence of Imperial Oil! (Otherwise known as Jet A!)
  3. It plays a tune?
  4. What are todays kids going to tell their kids what they went without when they were growing up!
  5. Reminds me of an old limerick: There once was a man named deGroot who had seven warts on his root He put acid on these and now when he pees he holds his @#$$#! like a flute Note to Jaap! Pronunciation of deGroot is to be English way. Note to everyone else! Pronunciation of @#$$#! is to be familiar form of Richard.
  6. If you were like me then when you had enough pisco in you you were likely driving the cart!! I ran one into a ditch - with 3 feet of water! When I gave the guy 50 bucks to get it fixed he was my best friend and personal driver for the rest of the weekend. I think he wanted me to drive it some more....
  7. Something got perforated making that mess!!!
  8. You've got yer club named wrong - by a factor of TWO!!!! Methinks yer should be called the Fyvie Guys!! Bloody Irish anyways!!! Fyvie Guys
  9. More photo's and details!!!!
  10. It still looks like a piece of wood!!
  11. Puerto Maldonado!! I can't decide wich was more fun, drag racing Honda 90's down the military airport runway at midnight or taking one of those three wheel taxis to the brothel. The women there were not pretty. But some fantastic pizza in that town. Pucallpa. The girls were very pretty there and lots of fun too! Iquitos. The friendliest and sexiest black girls I have ever met. When they dance it is like sex and art melded together. Cusco. I had friends there that took me horseback riding in the mountains. Some crazy guy tried to rob me but I ran him down with the horse and got called Clint for the rest of the day. Great nightclubs! Great pizza there too!! Arequipa. The most intriguing women of all there. Very dark hair, dark eyes and very secretive. If you stay more than a week it is worth it. Lima. Party town. Brenchley Arms Pub where foreign men meet local girls. The Cuban security is crazy!! Nightclubs start at midnight and close when everyone leaves - sometimes 8:00 am. Lots of great food everywhere!! Ceviches, antecuchos and some great Chifas (Chinese restaurants) All of it better than working in a remote camp in the Amazon jungle!! Puta de selva!!
  12. Ahhhhhh! That time I spent three weeks in Lima, Peru - living with 4 young ladies! I think I'll book a holiday now.... ummm better go home to the wife instead!! It's someone elses turn now! But if I ever get cancer.....
  13. Toronto motorcycle show.
  14. OOOOOOOOH!!!! I can't wait!!!!!
  15. Great but you should have seen what came out after a 60 oz bottle of Wiser's and some pizza! If you were on the Queen Mary you would have jumped overboard!!
  16. I don't know about the other parts but I know this is the mainstay of hockey!! Any problems with that?
  17. Tough to answer this one. I have a Laverda and the Laverda family means a lot to me even though I am just some pilot in Canada! I have to admit that I was first a Laverdisti before I became a Ducatisti. Then it was like they were everywhere so I looked around and found Moto Guzzi. I wish I had found the V7 or LeMans when I was starting out in the mid 70's but I can not deny who I found first. This motorcycle has had the biggest impact upon me and I have to say that it is truly my #1 choice even though I own 3 Guzzi's. I am rambling because I am sorry we have lost another gentleman from a wonderful family of motorcycle manufacturers! When I met Piero and realized that these are the guys who make a motorcycle come to life it was a most wonderful part of my life!! P.S. Sorry Antonio and Goffredo if Laverdisti and Ducatisti are not correct. I am only a Canadian. Steve G! I thank you for passing on this news. I expect you are as sad as I am!
  18. Plywood? The original (modern) composite! Does the right answer get a quiz point?
  19. That's even more bikes than I have!!!!!
  20. Tried. No luck!
  21. Making use of composite materials there by the looks of it!!
  22. Sorry, no hurricane content but it does sum up everything else about New Orleans that I can remember! T&B
  23. Name the manufacturer, displacement and explain the unique exhaust system.
