  6. Luckily, I found someone to weld it back together for me, thanks. I did talk with Gordon and he said that he has this in stock http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50&products_id=4388 And later will have the silver colored ones. James
  7. Guys / Gals, just dumped my bike in front of a lot of people in front of a coffee shop and broke the rear brake pedal lever. Any ideas on where to get a replacement?
  8. awesome find. I have a set on my 2002 Scura with the ECU. I think I paid 1000USD for them back in 2006. Mine are now dented and look like crap. If anyone has the cans for sale, just let me know. I am sure we can both walk away happy. james.trantham@gmail.com

  10. my gen light is also acting up. sometimes it stays on, sometime off, sometimes just barely lit....most times I can turn the key/switch on off and the gen light goes off. Ride a few more days and it starts all over again. Can Roy expand on where he was going with that response? Cheers, James

  13. parts arrived from http://www.stein-dinse.biz talked with them a couple of times in english to ensure the right part was being sent. parts arrived, installed yesterday, and every thing is back to normal. Thanks Gunther!. Case is closed. jt moved to Ashland Oregon from St. Augustine, FL
  14. Gunther, thanks for that link. Looks like they have the part in stock so I will try to order. All the best. Craig, the speedo is erratic and sometimes doesn't work at all. The gears are probably not setting any longer on the mechanism No. 5 in the drawing. Thanks guys. Cheers.
  15. here is the attachment Instrument Board.pdf
  16. reading through the forum, I was reminded about MPH Cycles in Houston and how they helped me on a cross the USA trip many years ago. I asked them for a speedometer transmission (part no. 01 76 25 60) for my 2002 Scura, see no.5 in attachment. MPH said after checking with MG, the part is discontinued (ie, not available) and said I would have to ebay for it. Can a guy rebuild it? I understand the part is only used in V11 Sport models. Any advice would be helpful. Cheers, James
  17. I just cleaned the inside with soap and water and it looks as good as new. problem solved. thanks.
  18. ok, thanks. I had removed the chrome ring and polished it up nice and clean with Flitz metal polish then put some Meguiar's paste on it. Man it looks nice. I'll pull it off again, remove the bulb out of the light housing and try to use a bottle brush on the inside. BTW, I don't think it is sealed, DL.
  19. Guys/Gals; need some advice on cleaning my headlight. It looks totally cloudy inside (see pics). any thoughts?
  20. see you already got what you ordered, but see pics here : http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?app=gallery&image=860
