  1. April 1 is the launch date. Racing is Sat 24th June after the TT. Practice is the day before. http://www.bushroadraces.com/ BTW I emailed the organisers in the reply there was this little titbit of extra info I though I might pass on ' a few alterations have been made to the circuit since then (since the video) hedges removed. telegraph poles to be removed shortly. some resurfacing work to be carried out. ' Hope it all comes together for them! HTH Nige.
  2. Did a very good job with the equipment he had. Didn't look too comfortable at times coming past my marshaling point at the Black Dub ( 9th Milestone ). I am very pleased to have one of the three exhausts made for that event fitted to my Scura. Yes, I got lucky on ebay! Nige.
  3. With luck they might even close the roads? Nige.
  4. Hey! I wonder if they will race outfits there! Nige.
  5. Probably won't be much left on the second lap of practice! Nige.
  6. Awesome! That ain't a course...It's a rollercoaster! I love it! I gotta see it!! If you like this sort of thing BTW there is the Southern 100 and Jurby Road races here on the Isle of Man. Nige.
  7. I thought Le Mans was the circuit.... Similar to how they named the V50 Monza? Nige.
  8. Yep that is the fella... If I don't get any reply from Rolf by the weekend, I will convert a tube spanner or socket, I suppose. Nige.
  9. I have the replacement clutch inner body, which is deeper than the one fitted to the Scura gearbox mainshaft. Which at a pinch should be good enough to align the clutch plates. I have the pushrod cup that you were kind enough to give me the number of. I don't really have anything suitable to unfasten the nut to get the Scura clutch inner body off though. Nige.
  10. Right, I now have the engine out. Taken a skeet at it and decided to have a word with Rolf. Don't want to damage anything by bodging it. Emailed him yesterday..... Hoping I may get a reply tomorrow. Nige.
  11. Well I would be tempted go with Agostini.... but that said, it really depends what you are doing with other bits in the equation. What other mods do you have? ( Sorry if it was posted earlier, haven't read the entire thread....in a bit of a rush at the moment ) Nige.
  12. Oh well......... I guess you will just have to go to the real one then! www.iomtt.com Nige.

Southern 100 in July on the Billown Circuit is good craic too! Nige.
  14. Well as the course is 37 3/4 miles long, nobody can claim to have spectated everywhere. There is always a trade off. It depends what facilities if any you are wanting. Most of the course it is just surrounded by countryside. There are still a few places you can get a beer and a burger. Manx GP is considerably quieter than the TT....More of a club event atmosphere. You generally get the more mature types and those who like the classics too. There is less put on in the way of entertainment than at TT time. If you like a quiet pint, a rally atmosphere, and beautiful rural countryside you won't be disappointed. There is a lot of history here all around you too. The capital Douglas is where most of the activity will be, but there are other less busy places you could stay...Castletown, or Port Erin in the South...Peel in the West, and Ramsey in the North. Give me a shout nearer the time, and I could give more detail for you. In the meantime, this URL may be of interest: http://www.iommgp.com/ Nige.
  15. I wouldn't hold your breath though! Nige.
  16. Sad to say I would have to agree with that advice! I just hope this issue gets resolved before some poor bugger gets hurt badly. Nige.
  17. Micrometers are supposed to eliminate the 'about' scenario BTW If yours is calibrated in centimetres I would take it back. Nige.
  18. Nor anyone outside the US by the wording either. Oh well. At least some folks there will get themselves a good deal. Nige.
  19. This is a downbeat, but unfortunately probably very accurate assessment! Nige.
  20. Already got one, Ta! Nige.
  21. As I have said on another thread..... I like the clutch action and performance too, but.........BIG BUT..... It is not even so much that the thing fails, it is the dramatic and potentially catastrophic nature of the way it is likely to let go, that is the thing that is making me change the assembly prior to failure. As Nog and others (myself included) have said this grenading issue is likely to be a 'when' rather than an 'if' I really wish they would bite the bullet on this...do the right thing and do a recall, before some poor bugger is maimed or killed! Nige.
  22. That is the pic I remember seeing from a while back. Thanks for posting it again. I think that config looks favourite so far. Do you find it noisy on intake roar? Nige.
  23. I bet it does. Looks a nice job BTW. I think I would have stuck with attacking the lid! Nige.
  24. I take it you don't subscribe to the large volume of still air theory then? Nige.
  25. Thanks for the info, guys... This is just the sort of feedback I am looking for. Guy...Did you just remove the lid and just slot the K&N in or is there a little more to it? Ratchet...Yes, I would like to see pics when you can please? In anticipation of a scenario such as you are describing, I obtained a complete standard spare air box, in case I really make a bollox of it! I am probably going to get a bigger ration of intake noise than you did, because I am in the process of persuading a fairing to fit on it. I agree with you about the ear plug issue, I can't get along with them either, for numerous reasons. Thanks again for the input so far, folks! Nige.
