  1. I have the Ohlins On my 02 LeMans. And yes, We are a certified Ohlins Service Center See ya andy
  2. I would be interested in where and how much...no defects...proper working order...etc... andy
  3. Now Bill ...tell us the truth...did you find itt or did Wayne come over.... andy
  4. Sounds like the spacer that goes on the rear spindle after it goes in the rear bevel drive and before the wheel is put on andy
  5. I guess I said that backwards. The right bearing has a smaller ID than the left on. \ andy
  6. Your on the right track now. I don't believe that the correct spacer is inside the front wheel(the pic that Jean added). There are 2 different bearings for this set up. The riders right hand bearing should have a larger ID than the left side bearing. The spacer portion of the axle should push against this in order to get the wheel centered correctly andy
  7. We are going to get a big screen, pull the bikes out if the shop, get some BBQ, and watch the Moto GP race from Laguna....maybe I will have to ride Sat. . Anyway....since you still have access to modern technology, you can check us out here.....corsemotorsports dot com. See Ya'll soon andy (alain says hey)
  8. Course.. you would pick MotoGP weekend and possibly our open house Oh well ....we will see what happens.. andy
  9. looks to simple to be true.
  10. I concur with everything said. for informational purposes...I am 215 -225 on any given day ...I installed the 1.2 springson my 02 LeMans. I also have have H & B hard bags on the bike. It works for me but then I like things on the firm side I also played around with the preload spacer length to get the sag where I wanted it. used 5w fork fluid. andy
  11. Yes it is a two piece driveshaft. Yes it should feel pretty solid. If you pull it apart be sure to align the indexing marks on each piece.Only grease the rear nipple if you still have the rear wheel on(rear nipple on the shaftnot the u-joint). If you greased it with the wheel off, you are now wondering why you can't get the axle in the wheel. Its the thick grease in a small oriface syndrome. good luck andy
  12. There is the possibility that that engine oil is leaking from the large banjo fitting at the top of the frame ( top left ) hidden by the gas tank.... when I had that situation my steering damper had blown its seal. I think you need to pull the tank or at least the plastic cover right there at the headstock and dig a little deeper as we say... let us know what happens. andy
  13. Hey Pete, I've done about 10 of the six speed refits as I call them . Todd is right about the grooves in the new pieces. maybe he can find a set of directions that also tells which direction the grooves are supposed to be facing...front or back. And your "Blokes" down there should have used Yamabond or similar or the box is gonna leak.... andy

  15. Upper fairing and tank are the only things left that are stock....150 at the rear wheels w/ 100lb/ft of torque I'm good to go against most anything on the showroom floor...anybodys showroom Plate reads SLEEPR andy
  16. When the young lads need to be put in there place I get the beast out....also good for getting in trouble Hey Al ...you should get over to the FJ rally this spring in Boone NC andy
  17. hey Docc, looks like you need to spend less time try out your knot tying and ride...-)))))))))) andy
  18. I use the Valentine 1 radar/laser detector in conjunction with the H.A.R.D. system on my 02 LeMans. it is a bit pricey but it also allows me to end up with only one or so tickets a year . I think my biggest reason for less tickets is my ever increasing middle age and the fact that I have hard bags mounted. you know ...the old fart on the touring rig ...probably in a hurry to get home and take his medication I like the HARD setup so much I bought another one for my other helment....I do wish the batterys lasted a little longer. Sometimes I take my helment off and forget to turn off the receiver...chow!!! andy
  19. Go see the folks at Myers ..good people... they my even have a demo available to ride... andy

Hey Docc ....where you guys going sat morn???? andy
  21. If I am correct the new 6 speed box has 2 shafts as opposed to the V11 6 speed taht has 4 shafts. It is a rather complicated box vs the new box with a shift drum ie.. what most every other motorcycle on the road uses. Any changes from year to year on the V11 were not that special...the MGSO1 uses a V11 6 speed with a special machined end case to accept the swingarm mount and various other coolshit to make the suspension work. andy
  22. Penske should now have the correct specs for the V11. I sent the the shock off my 02 LeMans so they could get it right. It is a nice piece. andy
  23. I like that proceedure alot for checking things out. Or you can measure the pivot pins with a dial indicator before you remove the swingarm. andy
  24. Congrats !!!! that is one sweet looking 2-wheeler have you named her yet ....looks like a Sophia to me andy
  25. The calipers work well but could probably benifit from a slight increase in bore size of the master cylinder.... but they still work pretty well with the stock setup
