I think 600 euro for the paioli, but if you want to know, just email him. What I don't get from the duc forks that fit, is that original, forks in v11 have a 54mm diameter in the 3clamps, the duc has 54 down and 50 mm top size. See the zupin pdf On ebay from time to time there go these forks, for 1200/1600 dollar. Just have to watch. And wait:-) If you are the guy who want service and warranty, don't go that way, just start saving money.

2019,88 for the forks at this site: http://www.redracingparts.it/en/english.htm The paioli Jean Marc has for sale, is from a ghezzi&brian supertwin, see: www.supertwin.org for the bike with the forks. Ghezzi only uses one type. Thats the one with 40mm caliper mounts, so you can at the same time add some mean 6 or 8 pot brake system. Paioli self its oem forks, only ordering them direct is expensive I heard. see: http://www.paioli.com/products/road/usd/pa..._usd/indice.htm

The slight modifications will be that the front axcle won't fit right away maybe, and the brake mounting is made for the 40mm older brembo mount, instead of the 65mm from the new ones. I also think the paioli is 730mm long instead of 760 for the v11, but the bike will be a bit more quicker in steering. The triple clamp is 35 mm offset agianst the 40mm from the v11. I think one of the v11's racing in italiy uses the paioli, see guzzisti.it site. If you are interested in a paioli, A friend in france has one for sale, 300km old= new. He got himself ohlins superbike forks. his email is: thejmm@yahoo.fr Ohlins has 3 lines of forks 1. simple the oem, like on the scura/rsv-r/duc ? euro 2. better road and track forks = 2200 euro 3. best superbike forks fg370 = 7000/8000 euro I think the WP at tlm will be some 1400 euro

So I mailed them that I have WP forks, and wanted a manual, mail back in one day, and a copy of the manual with the post in 2 days. I send a mail to wp@wp.nl, and was awsered by harry@wp.nl. TLM has new wp forks in stock, upstairs, you can make a deal on them I think. Or you can buy mine, then I buy Ohlins:-)
  8. The stand on the v11 was made that way, because in every review of a daytona/sport1100/centauro the side stand was made a minus point, a example of strange italian engineering. I had the "imposible "stand on my daytona for 8 years, no problem, just use my hand to put it down. Now I have a v11 stand, just can do it with my foot, very easy. So I have something easy on my bike:-) But when I want easy, I take the Volvo.
  9. one degree steeper can be done for less than 200$, Ghezzi&brian makes concentric steering head bearings, You can order then at agostini. I have them for 30000Km, no problem.
  10. Well, Jaap made a composition of the daytona fairing on a v11 , for that fairing exists a bottom to make it a full fearing
  11. I don't get all the heat things, I located the fuel pump and filter under the tank, I don't like the look of the pump in front. All is pretty close to the 4V cilinders, but even a track day, 5x 20minutes, on the track doesn't give a problem. I've also seen posts about imploding tanks, that looks if the air doesn't come into the tank. SO what happens exactly? Boiling fuel in the lines would be easyliy solved when you put on the contact, the fuel pump starts pumping fresh fuel around from tank, to pump and filter and back.
  12. front is correct, I changed both for 52x25 to fit a hollow spindle.
  13. Carl, it was outlook(express) that erased your file, wasn't it? But on the pc, netscape 4.5 doesn't work, but netscape 7 is fine. Just tried
  14. Maybe something with acrobat setup? Because the parts list are pdf files with weblinks in it. In windows we can right click this link and see properties or "open in webbrowser". When I'm on this page: D:v11cdgbv11css12.pdf, I click on the left link it opens : D:v11cdgbv11cssv11_161a.htm, so in the same directory. you have the files in the right place?
  15. If you order direct in italy, you can get it for 522 euro, your local dealer rips you off!!! If you want it, goto www.firestartergarage.it And tell Filippo you got it from me. He is not so good in english, so keep it short.
  16. They added just some centimeters just behind the stearinghead. So there is the extended wheelbase from, and maybe they changed the fork triple clamp? In the 2001 model it has 40mm extension, don't know if the older was the same?
  17. you can download your own copy from: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/v11manuals/ or view it online here: http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/v11/ part nr= 02767200
  18. Basic, the pin should come out after unlocking the nut, but maybe a bit of oxidation is in between. Or the 2 alu parts where the pin is going through are not inline, then loosen the 2 screws a bit that hold them to the reardrive.
  19. So what do you think a dollar is worth these days? Less than a euro, you pay 1.10 dollar for an euro, so that's 47.3 dollar + shipping and money transfer costs. And I don't get my LED lights from them, but you can see how expensive they are. I pay less But they do have nice things.

  21. Another problem when you want different rotors, is that guzzi uses soft bolts that are glueed ito place. They won't come out before the head is round inside. I've here some 300mm disks with the aftermarket floaters into it. That works. They are sold here and there in Europe, try a Ducati shop. other, www.motowheels.com search for "stm floating disk"
  22. Joure correct Al, I meant indeed the rack, and I was thinking als bags hang of a rack, I don't know how that bags from Jaap are mounted, or which point it is attaching to. Hanging on the numberplate??? Is there a picture somewhere online where I can see clearly how it's mounted?
  23. Al, did you see the v11 with my tail and bags on it on my homepage?
  24. Well, I have just driven the first mile with it. Nice gearbox!, but have to get used to the whole thing, all is different. pictues as usual on my homepage. Leaving for 10 days to salt lake city, so I have to do without bike for ten days:-)
  25. David, Mark taylor is the first to have pictures from his bike with G&B mufler, and a nice tail:-), see the images section. Looks awsome!
