  1. don't use va for brakes. I got ducati bolts, they have a bigger socket size, and are low. And if it works on a duc...
  2. thats what I wanted to know. And if anyone can make some decent pics of the failed parts
  3. short question, is it wrong on intake and outlet side or just one side?
  4. It's in the Netherlands. I know the guy.
  5. Sounds better, and he has parts too?
  6. here are the internals: http://www.fastguzzi.nl/gallery/main.php/v...vGrisotechnics/
  7. an important thing: Love of Italian food and wine
  8. you must be lucky in the UK, a modern markting department as importer. I can imagine that Piaggio with the Vespas likes that, but more is needed to sell bikes in long term.
  9. That shop has all sorts of nice to have tools, lifesavers in some cases.
  10. BG, did you contact your dealer about this? If it was mine I could't wait to take the top of to see what is wrong, on the other hand, you won't give them anything as excuse for not covering it ith warranty. How many miles does it have?
  11. define what you see as radial wheels?
  12. right, and I suppose they are from Far, http://www.far.it/
  13. They are the same as the 1200 sport mirrors, so you don't need aprilia mirrors. In the end they are the same, just the idea.
  14. well this was the first prototype, with old style aprilia forks. They brake the same, I had them. Look the v11 oil cooler they mounted. Why didn't you use the original cooler jim? But without thermostat the engine will be under temperature most of the time. The oil pan is the v11 one but with the mgs they left out the thermostat. Should be easy to put back in.
  15. the daytona porkchops do fit on the newer bikes, only needs an spacer from 20 mm behind it each side. And something for the tail frame
  16. Dimitris, When you take the aprilia leonardo headlight, a v11 lighting wireloom with handlebar switches, a light rear and some direction lights, youre done. And don't forget to add the thermostat in the oil pan. But maybe in Greece it's always hot. But this was about the UK where things seem easy, here it's not possible to get it licenced, only when it had a license in another EU country. I know one is in our country with Dutch license.
  17. Well the reason to make these was because I needed a different pivot point for the swingarm, it is moved 60 mm to the gearbox, and a bit down. This to have a longer swingarm, I extended that 70mm. While I was doing it, I made the footrest mounting adjustable. My footrests are where the swingarm pivot is on the v11. Yes the holes, I had a long thought and didn't make them in. The hole in the frame isn't the best painted part, and after so much years with hole, I wanted to close it.
  18. these?
  19. I get it, it's all Heidi's fault.
  20. you know we like a picture, don't you?
  21. Well a rsu is a modern version of an upsd forks? Both are from Marzocchi. Thats where similarity ends.
  22. well, you made me go to the shed to make you a picture. first is how it looks to you, no adjustment on these bikes. Then second when you take the lid of, a nice screw for compression. So thats left, and reight is rebound. No preload adjsutment. Preload has to do with spring tension. So who i to heavy or light for the bike should get the forks setup by a specialized shop.
  23. options don't differ from what is available for the v11, only front wheel needs a narrower center, disks more close, and rear original fits no 5,5 without work or offcenter
  24. well front wheel should't be any problem. and for rear I bet PVM makes you one. The mounting looks a bit like BMW, and they produce for them.
  25. to get the link to the place you see, right at the top there is a link button http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source...=16&iwloc=A
