  1. so that will be here? http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source...&iwloc=near
  2. the choke is mounted on the clutch lever, Just loosen the clutch scews, and slide the thing of the bar.
  3. I found google maps has the view from it. I'ts called steetview and gives detailed pictures from lot of places. http://maps.google.nl/help/maps/streetview/ http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source...&iwloc=near
  4. Should be pressed in, I think the scura and later models had different tuned rearshocks, but I'm not shure. Forks are 313 right. You won't find much on them at the ohlins site because they are made for guzzi. I think there is a topic that has the numbers: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9000
  5. I have one here, that isn't good enough for complete clear coating, but partly painted it will be nice. Look for pictures here: http://www.fastguzzi.nl/sale
  6. I suppose they are just clipons, and then it's expensive. I suppose size is same as aprilia rsv, just measure.
  7. http://www.eztuning.it/speciali.asp?ID=103 http://www.eztuning.it/eshop/cat109.htm the seatcover is nice and not to expensive
  8. could be that the front master operates the rear too. There is a sort valve mounted there, could be a pressure adjuster.
  9. that's better. Why not make a mono seat version, as your wife has her own bike. Or make 2, one as single seat, and a 2 seater, easy swap. The plastic fender has to go, looks better from the side. Is that led light with blinkers legal, here not, because they need to be more separated. I have the very small Kellermann blinkers, almost invisible.
  10. Moto Guzzi takes care of it's customers, and recalls the 8v bikes for new cams and tappets. Not all bikes are affected, but your dealer can check. After a careful analysis Griso 1200 and Stelvio campaign for vehicles sold This technical update consists vehicles already in use, that is detailed below. http://www.servicemotoguzzi.com/public/com...en/002-2009.pdf
  11. well does that mean they don't exist anymore? If you want one, keep eyes open, they come for sale here and there.
  12. why leave the original rear light? Take a led light like I have, then you don't need the cutaway from the tail. And move the direction light a bit lower. This way, from the side, it also covers more of the subframe.
  13. Nice, and does it feel different with the clipons and ohins?
  14. Kuan, with the v11 tail you need the subframe for it too. But I think the tank and tail don't fit togheter, the tail is to wide. Better use a tail like I have on my bike. That's a narrowed magni australia tail, TLM sells them. The frame you have to make yourself. Ihave seen you fond my site, so know what to do. The battery, one yuasha ytx9-bs will do, flat on the frame under the tank.
  15. I have to admit, I do have a carc bike too. A 1200 sport. And to add a personal part, I got her real brakes. And a golden bar. Small things to start with.
  16. carl, this was a never finished project?
  17. Hi mattieu, The daytona tank isn't wide enough to fit the v11 tail. Only frame difference is the rear frame. But they can be exchanged. With little work the tank will fit.
  18. the big engine needs lots of air to run good. It should have the air as easy as possible. The original airbox did a good job there, now thats gone and you need something else. The filters should have a surface area as big as possible. The velocity stacks are there to make the air nice flowing in the carburator, so the gas can come out the jets and mix with air. Make a calculation of how much air the engine needs at 8000 rpm for each second. Are those Ohlins so cheap where you live? or did they almost cost as much as the bike? it looks good.
  19. you did nice work, but to complete it, the airfilters should be on velocity stacks, not direct on the carburator.
  20. well they had it for sale for 15.999 a few weeks a go and didn't sell http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTO-GUZZI-MGS-01-CO...p3286.m63.l1177 The mgs01 from Robin, the one that Gyles raced on, has landed in the Netherlands. The new owner is happy with it. I see the pound is dropping again. It shouldn't drop to far else I might be tempted.
  21. no, it is the guzzi part no. it has 80 tooth, don't have the numers, once the engine has run, numbers are gone.
  22. guzzi 3005 5300 Pirelli Dayco
  23. it's not a standard car part, we have been looking for alternatives, but none have the same application/specs.
  24. one for sale in germany: http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDeta...mp;pageNumber=1
  25. I a ducati forum i've seen one 999 driver who had the same. Has been back to the dealer, that didn't solve it. It is still strange, I have the same calipers and never had the problem. Is it only at high australian temperatures or also when it's 20 degr celcius? You could upgrade the calipers to the newer from a 1098s, they have different size pads(bigger) and are monoblock as an extra. I've seen them for 400 euro the pair on ebay.
