  1. well, cafe classic parts might be to small, but with some diy it sould be possible to transform the bellagio to a v7 sport look. Start with an alu tank in v7sport shape, that gets adjusted to fit on that frame, alternator in the way and more. Then the rear.
  2. Time for some action, and cristmas is comming, so buy the lady a gift. http://www.agentprovocateur.com/experience-pirates.html

  6. well get a bellagio, put new tank and seat on. Ready. And no-one has it:-)
  7. new: the griso in tenni colors, called griso se(special edition), with wire wheels. The stelvio in TT version, with all options, and as option 4,25"rearwheeel, so other tyres fit. And the nevada in burgundy.
  8. new for 2009, the griso tenni with spoked wheels and tenni color setting, called griso SE
  9. I put the request in the World of Guzzi forum in germany, but they, for more reasons mostly don't want to sign. But in the italian anima guzzista forum is a list too, going over 600 today. I forwarded the ones collected in the netherlands to that list.
  10. So what is the idle rpm? Was it running that bad before you removed aurfilter, and added chip, mistrals, and powercommander? And what chip did they put in?
  11. then give a link to what you are bidding on, so we know and can bid too. Only thing I can find is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts-Acces...A1%7C240%3A1318
  12. Greg I think do you know why the steps are there. To make it easy to get it through the bearings
  13. there is no pressure relieve valve, only a hole in the top with a cap over it to keep dirt out. Air should freely flow trough it.
  14. right, but now there is a version with the 8v engine in it, that is different.
  15. The thing is, they told when they first made the engine, it was so they could move the engine more forward in the bike to get the weight placement better. Well look how much space the brave/griso have between wheel and the engine, the engine could have been 10 cm more to the front. And with alternator on the crank placement in front with long swingarm and short wheelbase is possible. Look at my bike, the mgs01 and Ghezzi&Brian
  16. Steve, my understanding is that the Ducati sportsclassic were a sales disaster. Guzzi might be small, so you think they can move fast, but they have very limited resources. The daytona should have had a six gear box, that had to wait until the v11. And then they didn't have the money to make use of it, eg make a long swingarm. And if Piaggio management is faster, we will see.
  17. depanding on the load, a stonger shockspring might solve most of this problem. TLM has them in stock
  18. Getting a mgs01 frame is just ordering at the factory. ANd the new engine can be used with old gearboxes, like from v11 or tonti. The vintage has the alternator in front like all tontis have. There is place enough to mount the alternator in front, even on breva/griso. My bike does have it in front and is much shorther than both. Only I suppose the crank from the 8v isn't made so that an alternator could be mounted. But if Piaggio wanted, they could do it.
  19. it's not that a traditional swingarm is impossible for Guzzi to make, they won't do it I think. The new 8v engine gives a colision between frame and alternator when fitted to the v11/mgs01 frame. However when you want to diy one yourself, it is possible, see the result here, v11 frame, modified other very small alternator rsv factory forks 8v engine Carc This could be done more easy with v11 gearbox and rear. Made by CP racing Roma :
  20. I can't beat that :-) have fun
  21. I think a dutch guy bought them.
  22. Well even if a bike isn't made to be used, the designs from Fillipo Barcanne, Firestarter garage are lightyears ahead of this. That salt lake city thing look slike some parts accidentaly glued toghether.
  23. Murray, What number of new Guzzi bikes were sold last/this year in Austrlia? Just a rough number, I have no idea
  24. doesn't look like one where riding more than 50 miles is fun. let's say: tastes are personal, not my thing. If it should be such a thing, then the real thing is the sort Confederate produces.
