  1. raz, there is a part that has no oil and no direct function, here it's taken of. So if its in the part I tookoff, no wory, else there is a problem.
  2. well oil or not, some parts do have a lot of stress, and might be a security issue if notting done to it.
  3. With the v11 sidestand there should be no problem at all. I suppose the holes have a tread, and you need to take of the bottom spoiler.
  4. well, I just looked in the sport 1100i workshopmanual, there they say replace each 15000km with sporty use or each 20.000 km with normal use. I know they live longer than that. But anyway it is good to take them of each 10.000km, have them in your hand and feel if they move without play. And while you have them there, it's the perfect moment to grease them. And I'm no saint either, I once had one with melted bearing cages. But that was the sort that didn't have grease nipples.
  5. You should have serviced them. Although Guzzis look so simple, they still need regular maintenance.
  6. not common, please post a detail picture. Depends if it's an area where force is on or not if you need to replace it.
  7. all 1100 sporti parts there, so shouw a picture of what is broken, instead of the other picture.
  8. http://www.dynotec.de
  9. the daytona tank is less wide, and so the seat from the daytona wont make a good match to the v11 tank.
  10. so where to look? http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/museo.asp?lin=eng And I suppose in august they are closed. As a lot in Italy
  11. just back from southern france coast, even there most isn't topless. Mostly the older ones are. But there was one exception, I could't take a picture, since I was with my family. But wearing only a string, and a pair of boobs I won't forget for long.
  12. Pille, you could just visit your dealer....... else take out : wheel, reardrive, swingarm and then dismount the unijoint from the swingarm, then you have it in your hands and should be easy to get the grease in, or take it to a shop that does it for you.
  13. And you are shure that it ain't the intake rubbers? because they can have little leaks.
  14. Well a bit more adds to the fun, and try the stelvio and see what happens above 5k, that would be nice in a v11 too.
  15. Well no v11 sample, but there is a G&B furia with bigbore kit. Guaros bike isn't a v11, but his mgs01 has a v11 gearbox. Does that make it a v11? No. The 160 hp guaro engine isn't for us. It's as reliable as one or two races. Tuning a Guzzi to high numbers isn't financialy smart, but does that matter? Not to me.
  16. from this site I just downloaded a v11 manual fine, no problem here. point is, when you want, all guzzi workshopmanuals can be downloaded. here I collected some links: http://www.mgcn.nl/dameijer/index.php?opti...rt=0&search=* try http://www.guzzitek.org/
  17. original regulator needs the charge light. The circuit is simple, not so much that can go wrong. FIrst measure voltage on the jellow wires from alternator, that should be high.
  18. the only thing the flange is is, is that the spacer sits in the center when you romove the spindle. I have an alu spacer without it. And since it it fits exact, it stays where it is with spindle out. You might keep the spindle in when pushing the bearings in, so be shure the spacer sits in the right place. When mounted, the bearings should move easy with your finger And moving one bearing should turn the other one too.
  19. swingarm is the same, so v11 sport will fit. No idea about quality
  20. I see you would be happy with a balabio line, so why don't you buy one? Or get a line made as you wish. If you want to know what the lenght is from the short ones, I can measure that for you.
  21. I think so, going from a worn tyre to a new fresh one that has the right shape again makes half the difference. This counts maybe more for the back tyre than front. But changing the front bt010 to a pilot power made such a huge difference that it wasn't just the old versus new one. And next to that the Powers are the best rain tyre I've had.
  22. Well Ben you start something, and if you get a reply you close the topic??? What’s the problem with California? The have the most stringent pollution norms, and the biggest cars. And a movie star as governor. Looks pretty normal to me. Average American.
  23. centauro frame v11 gearbox 1225 cc engine by deas mototec tank made by Alusauer Tail G&B wheels the Alpina ones from rossopuro look for some pictures in different stages here: http://www.fastguzzi.nl/gallery/main.php/v/MarcDetournay/
  24. nothing wrong with the harris, but they are not adjustable in the angle. So if they fit you ok, else you have to live with that. The MR is very well made and light.
