  1. like this? http://stores.ebay.com/TH-motorclassicshop...idZ2QQpZ8QQtZkm but what I see is what was called here a ss50, or is that a different type?
  2. this reads like you need to ajust the shift linking outside the engine. It might move against another part, seen it before. And indeed take the starter engine of to get access. And first disconnet the battery.
  3. I think the tail is to thin, and to high, compared to the front of the bike. Tank and tail are very nice carved. But overal balance isn't ok. Where would the license plate and rearlight go?
  4. antonio, these are pvm wheels, and I think it's the same pair he used in the furia prototype and first mgs01 prototype. Same as my wheels.
  5. well now the daytona looks not very high in hp numbers, but when it was on the market in 92, compared to the le mans 1000 it was a hughe step forward. And a slightly updated engine from the daytona was put in the mgs01
  6. it's an english car, time to get rid of it.
  7. you get the 1098 under the price in the usa, 15k$ is translated to euros so little money, I would maybe get one.
  8. It has been in a magazine, bu I don't buy them so I missed it, but here the movie:
  9. Who cares what it's called, but in the end Guzzi won't make an r1 or r6 / gsxr like bike, NEVER. I don't think anyone here wants them to do that. What people here are looking for, I think is a bike in the power/weight class of a r1200s bmw. But then better looking, with the italian touch.
  10. well, I've done 2 gearboxes with strong paint stripper, then you don't need to take them apart.
  11. the fairing looks like a v11 le mans copy.
  12. Guzzibun, that you loan your bike for racing. Not many would do that. But exciting it is.
  13. that one is a modicated one in germany, could be had with license for 31000 euro.
  14. you don't have to shout: if you want one, get one.
  15. http://www.guzzisti.it/page_builder.php?fi...ingombrante.htm
  16. well aprilia is busy with this one, 210 hp superbike. SO when you get this on the road, you have desmosedici power. The same story is on the anima guzzista website in the editorial.
  17. I suppose they finaly see the 8v wasn't fitting in history. Guzzi always named them after the valves in one head. And on the heads is written 4v. Wrong pictutres on the guzzi site don't surprise me. Since the last revamp, more is wrong. My 10 year old daughter made better working websites.
  18. I think the one on the 8v looks ok. I think the ones made for the 1100 griso will fit, and if you realy want to change, the terminioni and quat-d are my favorites. For the Stelvio, I would wait some time to see what different manufactures come up with. Not get the first one.
  19. The link to guzzi bulletins I have, only shows axone updates even one from today. But they might have different chanels for communication. http://www.servicemotoguzzi.com/public/com...ew/002-2008.pdf
  20. they are all the same. Nothing changed
  21. well with the stelvio you get a part of that. And I suppose the new 8v engine is able to be tuned to at least the same power as the old engine. And with it's double oilpump better cooled
  22. correct the alternator feeds ac to the regulator, so it doesn't matter. For a digital multimeter, get one that switches itself of, I had once a cheapo, and that didn't Then every time you want to use it, you notice, you forgotten to switch it of the last use..... For the rest, if the connectors and wires look a bit stable, to mechanical survive that helps.
  23. is it flickering only when you have lights on? If you have a voltage meter, measure the voltage over the battery, with and without lights on, from idle and up to 4000 rpm, it should stay the same, and not be higher with lighs on than without. If it is, it has nothing to do with regulator, but with voltage drop over wiring/switches. And you have to look there
  24. I think the connector is a Metripack 3 way connector if this is what the tps is like: http://www.mmcompsys.com/download_zone/6_sensors/pf2c_01.pdf maybe this is something? http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com/perfo...x.html?item=923
  25. After the initial big bore was created by mr merani's company, he contacted Guareschi. Guareschi thought it would be nice to race with that, and changed almost all. So he got the engine that was used in daytona to blast away the other bikes. The engine was raced in the italian supertwin series. There was another mgs01 active. The one from millepercento. They did see the potential of the bigbore too, and made a deal with mr merani to be the distributors for the kit. And last Eicma they presented a griso with that kit, to buy for only 29000 euros..... What sort of bigbore you get from them, I don't know, not the one Guareschi races with, but thats to extreme for road use. But try millepercento with a mail to ask for a kit. When I was at the Guareschi shop last summer, they told me that then it was to premature to make a kit available. Next year they told me. Well it's next year, so maybe they can sell you a kit too.
