  1. the p7/8 was on the first daytona/ quota and some cali 1100. the p16 was on sport 1100i daytona rs and centauro. All v11 have the 15m, in two tastes, with or without lambda.
  2. It looks nice made, but it is so extreme ugly. Does noone see that? Do the carbon bits blind so much? A bike should be like a woman, nice forms you want to close to.
  3. For someone with workshop access, who can live without cush there is a cheap alternative. Breaking has sets of b-one wheels, there come with brakerotors fitted, and cost het as set 1200-1300 euro. The rotors have a different mounting so aren't interchangeble with anything. So don't think, get the wheels, sell the rotors to have the wheels cheaper. I don't have weights, but they seem on par with what is mounted in todays japanese bikes. Lot of track guys buy them here as second wheelset. And Skeeve, is driving just going forward in a straight line? Or can there be some corner in there? What is a big difference is, when at speed say from 80km up, changing just a little from where you were going is so much easier.
  4. Weight of wheels is hard to compare, manufacturers often only do the naked wheel, no bearings/spacers, niot ready to mount. My pvm set is 5 kg lighter then original v11 3,5-5,5 wheels. 1.5 in front, 3.5 rear. Weighted difference ready to mount. In alu, I think the forged g&b wheels are the lightest, but no cush. But the are no longer available. The cush in the pvm isn't light. But noone else has them. To enhance driving, the front wheel does it all, rear isn't what you feel. The mgs01 wheels don't look bad and have a cush drive. But the price guzzi asks is double from pvm. For that money a set carbon bst can be bought too.
  5. I see the rules: competition. If you are interested in competing on a model that is not listed, contact Colin Fraser So there is room for more. I see that the autograph sessions are crowded, but not much people on side of the track?
  6. hi Marc, now what is the weight? When to mount the stuff?
  7. No that is the point, I buy for 10+2 but get the 2 back from government, because I resell it. so even if the product goes though 10 hands, that each add money, in the end customer price, allways 20% vat is included, all vat down the line gets deducted. Thats why if you buy from rossopuro, you don't pay vat, because when the product comes to US customs, they charge vat.
  8. I think you need another lesson. Here calculate 20% vat: Value added tells it all, if I buy raw steel for 10, and pay 2 vat over it, I sell it for double(=20) the customer pays 20+4 vat. I have to pay the governement 4-2 = 2 Because what I pay as company, I get back, and what I collect on vat, I pay them, And my added value was 20-10=10 and so I pay vat over the added price(10), =2.
  9. from what I know its no pls but a pes or pe E = Elastico rear suspension. S = Sport. L = Lamiera, pressed steel frame. De Egretta is the luxery successor of the PL, with chromed parts. The Ardetta is more simpel for the people, like the german Volkswagen (= peoples car). but take a look here: http://www.mgcn.nl/dameijer/database/ there are a lot of pictures on the pe http://www.mgcn.nl/dameijer/html/ptypeseng.htm but I'm no expert on these old things. Ask me anything about the spine frames, thats where I know all about
  10. Things to check, the distance between brake disk mounting, that might be narrower with the ducati. But narrower is easier solved than wider. Most duc do have a 25mm spindle, only the lighter ones maybe not, so then you need to change bearings/spacers. Spacers can always made fit.

well joe, each bike has things what it does best, and what is important for you, we can't tell. Try to drive each of them for at least 2 hours. Maybe some will easy be of the list then.
  12. during gmg in mandello the bikes have been tested by a lot of people. And the first bikes are on the road. In Italy and germany. Next month they get to here, tlm has sold one that will be delivered then.
  13. well its no rocketscience. Look at mu webpage where I discribed putting a v11 gearbox in a daytona: http://www.fastguzzi.nl/howto/6speed.htm And in your profile: Guzzi:96 Sport 1100 145bhp Tell me about that last number, just dreaming or?
  14. all here: http://guzzitech.com/PHPBB2/viewtopic.php?t=201
  15. Here are cad drawings and close up of engine parts. If you are in italy, get the motociclismo from december http://www.motociclismo.it/edisport/moto/g...RL%26AutoFramed
  16. 4.5 = 160 5.0 = 170 5.5 = 180 6.0 = 190 Well that is what tyre designers make it for. Making different combination will give a different tyre shape as designed. But you can argue that 0.5 inch more or less isn't that much in width. But the v11 sport first was delivered with 170 on 4.5, and after complaints, lots of users switched to 160.
  17. try the search, lot written about it. But the 5.5 rim is made for 180 tyre. with 170 you get a radius in the tyre the developer didn't think of. That won't say you can like it. IF you want a quick steering bike, get pointy tyres.
  18. well orange, its a bit laverda/ktm but: talking about big bike:
  19. when green, then no gloss paint. But the green is bound to the fiftys/sixtys for me, not with modern bikes. Red is a color Guzzi used from early to now, in different nuances. The coppa america mgs01 is fun from uglyness, but no way I would paint my bike that way. I would consider orange. this is what I connect to green:
  20. Well Guy, since I maintain the mgcn website, I think this is it: http://www.mgcn.nl/forum/index.php?showtopic=5551
  21. Thats bad, very bad. I feel the pain. Parts are very expensive. Ask your shop. That's why new rsv are sold in parts. At Mi you can buy a new one for 9000$
  22. well, I stopped buying magazines, they are boring. To compare 4 600cc japs? I don't buy parts anymore, they get special made. Happy? YES
  23. well you will have to find a used g&b if you want one. I don't think they will build anymore. Here in europe, they don't get it licenced anymore, they don't have "euro 3" clasification. A dutch guy bought the last one made, g&b had put the frame on a license when it still was possible. The fionda was a furia with some extras, I think a "one off". But heads up, this eicma there was a special build on a g&b.
  24. another video http://www.motonline.com/eicma2007/video.c...amp;formato=wmv
  25. well, maybe they can help out: http://www.oemmotorparts.com/ at least nice pages with parts, and exploded views, even the mgs01, there can be seen how expensive its parts are.
