  1. the us shape headlight is the same as duc 900ss I think. But what you need is the fairing frame.
  2. I do know one v11, where the owner claims to have taken the weight down to 185 kg if I remember. But there were some serious weight savings made. And costs made too. This bike:
  3. well lots...? I had the g&b those where 200 euro 10 years ago. The deas is much more expensive, and only goes with an expensive 3 clamp. The only way to get it cheaper, might be direct from italy, but language and maney transfer might be a problem. look here, he might be the one making the G&B ones: http://www.cormasmotors.com/progetti.htm or more easy, try agostini But if they are 200 euro, add tax and transport and you pay 300 + ?
  4. well I think your spring is to harsh. I have a -26 or 85 N/mm sping, and do trackdays with it, never had the idea it bottoms out. Others that sat on it found it soft. With guzzi everyone is used to a non suspended rear end. Only when ridden with two, often a harder spring might be needed.
  5. what spring is on there, and what is your weight?
  6. The filter from the older engines works fine, just need the adapter from the old(tonti) engines. I have that on mine, just because it came like that when I bought the engine. And like a coincidence, I got a big filter for it now :-) . I'm going to mount an adapterplate in between for an oil cooler.
  7. the front crossover is a bolt on, I did exchange it with the older pipes. But it sits on the wrong place when you want to take of the alternator cover. SoI sold it to Bill Hagan.
  8. I think they are. the extra lenght in the frame is in the front. Intead of extening the swingarm, they extended the front what does it do with weight, yeah right, that moves backwards.
  9. I did tell you that before, didn't I? you don't want to know the price: 965.60 euro http://contentmanager.brainst.com/8118/umbauten.php3 http://contentmanager.brainst.com/bilder/12824z2.jpg http://www.daes-mototec.de/
  10. I see enough clearance that a 200 would fit. But each size tire is made for a specific rim width. If you combine else, the shape that was intented by the tyreco won't be there. We got here some people telling that theirs works, like our guy with the most colorfull v11, fine for them. so 4.5> 160 5.0> 170 5.5> 180 6.0> 190 And v11 sport have 4.5, all later have 5.5.
  11. brakedisks were made in the past from cast iron. Today we see other mixtures, and because of that the available brakepads are made for them. Most important is the pairing diskpad. I have PVM disks and raced them with performance friction carbon pads, incredible braking power. Won't be that good with cast iron.
  12. In Assen today:
  13. KiloSjon asked me to post this pic, jusst ready to leave for Mandello: Mandello here we come...
  14. well if you take the starter engine out you can take a look, to see if there is oil. Normal the clutch should live much longer.
  15. thats a street race tire. won't last long but maybe is good for fun. maybe youre better with the pilot power, A lot of people like them, like me.
  16. well that shipping is steep. For that you get it in 24 hours or what? There are cheaper options from here. with fedex it cost for a 10 kg package FedEx International Priority® 182.45 euro. And with normal postal service a lot cheaper. But the pump and other stuff are easy to transfer. If you have metric tools :-)
  17. well, it's not so accurate, but without anything it can help. Or when you have just someone who has been playing with the adjustment screw:-), then the rest still is where it should be. I made a water column adjuster to see where vacuum goes.
  18. without any tools, I use this: pull one sparkplug and see how much it ges down in revs, then the other side the same. To make the coil happy connect the loose sparkplugwire to a sparkplug that is grounded, so it can fire its sparks.
  19. Antonio must be an Italian hippie.
  20. then you missed the big one where it all turns around, the big chrome where you look at the whole time, it has a hex hole in the center where a small thing is pressed in, gentle put a knife in beween and flip it out. Then a hex will fit in.
  21. it does have one, but it's hidden in the tank with the pump.
  22. well pete, they think the spring is to strong, so the tensioner wears to quick, and without it's strong enough. Just yesterday I figured that I could put a 1200 sport oilpump in my bike, until I found out that it has different mounting, and a bearing in the engine block.:-( After I found out, I rememberd that I did know that before:-)
  23. most people use the stucchi without the spring.
