  1. Well the damage is greater as a new one costs. what is left is: engine, swingarm, frame, if it isn't bent, wheels. The older 4v duc engines don't bring much on ebay, this is a highpower one ok. The guy with highest bid, is selling ducs in parts on ebay, so he has made the caclulation, and thinks it is worth it. I opt for the brake calipers.
  2. well it wasn't registred yet, so a shop demo bike maybe?
  3. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...:EF%3Cimg%20src
  4. richard, you didnt notice this: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7637 ?
  5. No antonio this is a v11 sport with 6 sp box, and a centauro engine mounted. As you could know the 4V and 6 sp box mate fine as my bike has it.
  6. Yes it will, with some small parts. And you have to mount the gastank a bit higher, because the heads are bigger. looks like this when finished.
  7. yes some jap parts like showa are cheaper, but fitting them is way more problematic. They are most of the time one or two inches short. What I don't mind but others might not like the bike on its nose. Then they won't fit in the triples, the brakes won't fit. So basicaly anything is wrong. Nothing can't be solved, but needs a lot more work, and if you can't do it yourself, costs a lot of money extra. Where adding ohlins might add to the value off your bike, on showa won't. And the ohlins can be taken out and sold separate easy, where the showa gets no money in the end.
  8. well a 2 second google search brings thi site up, http://www.dynamicbicycles.com/ nothing can keep you of the shaft drive bicicle. There are more, and it's not new.
  9. anyone knows what the times were with the bigger bikes last year?
  10. that won't work when you take porkshops off:-) this is where the original guzzi workshop stand works fine.
  11. just get the swingarm out, should be enough
  12. don't forget to put oil in after repair, like I did
  13. I did a quick search, and yes for both models fender is one made, only not in carbon, but black. Made by PYRAMID
  14. But a very little bit you do hope to use one for real? Whats the fascination else? To me it's like having a gun and no bullits with it.
  15. Well that is a short frame, could be from rosso mandello or centauro/daytona rs. And I think you can put all scura parts on it. Only thing I'm not shure is the front engine mount.
  16. what the rsv fender does worse is the back, it's so short there that the whole engine gets dirty
  17. I suppose 1200 sport?
  18. The german ones are staight bolt on. The front axle that fits is 25mm with on one side a 30mm piece. So if your axle is 25mm you change nothing on the wheel, maybe only need the axle. If you need an axle, the duc 999 axle is a nice fit, I had that one in, as do others. The mudgard has other mounting. So you can order the original from a scura or rosso corsa( expensive), or better get one from an rsv aprillia, the rsv one keeps the legs better clear of mud. take a look here: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1201 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8355
  19. well joel, yes a number of people have done it. If you search the forum you can find it. it's easy, if you have the ohlins made for the v11, else you have a lot of work. hmb in germany has them new in stock. They bought overstock from factory http://www.hmb-guzzi.de/html/teileangebot.htm
  20. to hold the same diameter, should't the thing be wider where the valveguide is going through? I one looked in a 916 head, that has much more logical looking ports
  21. bruce I don't see frames here at the hmb site.
  22. I like the griso, with new tail and low bars.
  23. fillipo barcane has shown these two bikes on the bikeexpo. look here in anima guzzizta forum: http://www.guzzisti.it/forum/phpBB2/viewto...&start=2086
  24. you see, Carls frame is quite different between the upper bearing and where the oil line is attached.
  25. the rm should have the short frame . as the v11sport has. All later bikes from le mans/ scura have the long frame. If you look at the steeringhead ist clearly different. this is a long frame:
