the upper fork clamp looks familiar, but is from a 999, as the rest of the forks. And they started with 4 straight pipes, but that was maybe to let them go to a collector.

no jim, the chassis is self made, only real mgs part is the gearbox rearcover, the swingarm that I've seen on george's pictures looked like one of the mgs prototype swingarms. The article states that the madrid university had made al sorts of calculations on it.

why not take the mgs?

Well I knew he was building it. And the result looks like many many hours of love(and money) flown in it, just like the mas12. For me the color or styling don't do it, but thats not important. Important is, will it beat a mgs01? Did the g&g engine ever produce more power than a mgs? If you look at it, the starting position is much better: a more straight intake line, watercooled.

I've installed ie7 at 2 computers here at home, no problems. When some other things aren't working fine, don't blame ie7 for it. So alesx when your system restore isn't ok, what can ie7 do about it? Or start using firefox 2.

The piaggio management doesn't make bikes to dump them in the Como lake. I think from the 4000 bikes in 2004 were more leftovers, then from the 10.000 from this year.

11-12-2006 was the day they reached the 10.000 production units. After 4000 in 2004, and 7000 last year. In 1983 was the last time they made so much bikes.

I got the nonstop gtx(is almost the same only with a piece of leather over the zippers), before going to mandello. And they got an awfull lot of rain, and my feet were not only dry, but never felt uncomfortable. And walking arround mandello 3 days wasn't any problem with them. A 10 for all things from me.

the last thing is what me kept riding guzzi. It has an engine, and one that lives.

Well with some grinding and welding the weight balance can be moved forward. Extend the swingarm, and cut a piece out of the spine. At the same time the head angle can be made a bit more modern. It all is some work, but doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
