    Wow!

Well, I like it. It seems to need no excuse to be weaker than the competition like the older ducs. If they got the weight down to 171 kg really, they have made progress. And the usa prices I've seen, look lower than the 999, that would be great, instead of getting more expensive each version. Now if we can have the same price/weight/power development at Guzzi...
  3. why the fuss about the rear brake, what do you need a rear brake for?
  4. your stock will do, if you need to spend money the radial brembo 19 are good to. for a bit fun look here: http://www.yoyodyneti.com/Product/brembo_brakes.htm But from my experience, the pad/disk combination makes the most difference.
  5. what a dream place to live, only a pitty it seems nesscesary to keep visitors outside with window-armor.
  6. ok , I misunderstood. 999 are the 4 pad 65mm calipers. there you can find adappters for. like these http://www.kaemna.de/cms_en/katalog.htm?&a...amp;artikel=234 http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx...uctid=70.2506RL http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-748-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. murray, i ve seen adapters for 65mm brembo mounting but never for 40mm. So now you want some rsv factory forks:-)
  8. well you don't tell what the bosch is connected to, but I think lambda 0.9 is considerd best powerwise, going to lambda 1 will be better for fuel consumption
  9. normaly its H4.
  10. well, if someone here speaks his language, it's you Antonio. I don't think carbon ducati tanks are much cheaper. But it's a lot of money.
  11. As it has the B kit, it has the same things in it's engine as a Centauro. the c kit added other cams, and a fuel pressure regulator, with a different eprom. And as on on the picture, that can't be road legal for it's noise, or are the laws so easy in GB? The factory has used the normal daytona papers I suppose. What are the framenumbers from the 20, do you know? KA 11111 KA 11802 Daytona 1000 I.E Single seater, 1993 - 1996 KA 15001 KA 15100 Daytona Racing KA 30001 KA 33137 Daytona 1000 I.E. Biposta, 1993 - 1996
  12. I think you summed up all differences. OR does it have 320mm brakes oposed to the 300 from the daytona? Once there was an article in fast bikes about it, I lost that, but it discribed the bike with nice pics.

    Fairing ?

stucchi in mandello has them. http://www.stucchiluigi.it/ SPOILER SOTTOCOPPA V11 CARBON. Cod: SPL019920 http://www.stucchiluigi.it/INGLESEnew/sche...p?Cod=SPL019920
  14. well, you can ask him, his ebay username is: drjohnmg
  15. Startwin. I have no clue either why the original pipes are so wide running, I once made some connecting pipes for a set Bos silencers, an got them running parallel and narrow, on a stucci crossover.
  16. well jaap show us some pictures from what is not parallel
  17. For my MS injection, I have a sensor instead of a speedo cable, mounted in place of the cable on the gearbox. What I need to know is the ratio of the gears that are driving that. The one I can take out is 9 tooth, but does someone know the one in the gearbox that drives it? it's part 04762500, from the ones with the angle thing on it (first v11 le mans gearbox). I think I once have seen the ratio, as it's different on the bikes with the new style tacho. But I can't find it with the search.
  18. If I remember correctly, wasn't there a problem with water and rust at the trottlebodies?
  19. well I have a complete terminioni system to sell. Is much nicer than anything else. Shown on the pictures of the first v11 prototype by guzzi. it's not a high mounting system
  20. well the 4 pad ones, I had them, made not much difference with my radial brakes. The 4 pad calipers can be found on ebay often. used on the 999, some other sport ducs and aprilias. New they are cheap from ducati performance in a set, with a brakeline, that you only can use with clipons. But much cheaper as sold seperate. I think there is an article on guzzitech about them.
  21. The v11 rotors are not free floating. So there is not much to cleanout.
  22. for braking the model that fits is the STX01D. But if ever you consider to upgrade the calipers to the newer 4 pad version, then you need another one( they fit now to), because the floaters have to be more inside for that. STX73D
  23. boys stop! it's 100 hp at the crank. As it is 95 claimed at the crack stock. You will need a lot more to get 100 hp at the wheel. And Alex, you do read german well? In your diagram is the text, motorleistung that is enginepower. In the text on the right is also explained that they measure the wheel, and muliply it with losses to get the crank power. "hochgerechnet"
  24. Braking wave are ok, think they are on the 1200sport too. Most rotors are not full floating. I have very expensive( 500 euro each) PVM rotors, and they are full floating, but I took them of because I had vibration at braking, so even a high price is no guarantee for trouble free working. I have had no time to see what is wrong with them. No I have a set from a rsv mile, they look floating but aren't. But they do brake. Not nearly the bite the PVM has.
  25. we will see if the professionals from the magazines detect that it's the same bike as a norge.
