  1. I think the racing kit will be a exhaust system ( 2-1-2) + eprom, that gives > 100 hp according to the guzzi website: yeah right, 100. 1 hp Not so strange from adding an open system without euro3. Normal power specs are the same as the norge, so see it as a norge without full fairing. new pictures on moto guzzi italia website.
  2. Mark, was there a big metal washer under all bolts, or one for each bolt? bolts were still real tight, or a bit loose?
  3. well, if you know what you want, an öhlins can be made at your specs. And since there are so much arround, a lot of people are able to do this. I don't think any revalved Marzocchi forks come near a standard öhlins one. What all makes need is the proper spring for riding style and weight. For track use I have 11 nm springs in the forks, when I go touring to Mandelo, I could have used softer ones.
  4. A scura shure needs a spring/boss update. you don't need a gasket, just fluid gasket. for the ones that want it easy, get a new spring and the arm where the boss is on: spring 04238300 Ratchet 01235130
  5. then it first has to break, what most will at last. Mark is at the right time. I don't see them make a recall. Unless some country security board make work of it. All I have seen crack just arround the bolt holes. Some do have cracks from center to the outside, mine had one quarter of the flywheel out.
  6. Ive seen pictures of this one before, then it had that style tank, but without fairing. Besides the logo it has nothing to do with jps. More pictures?
  7. Alex, I think people in the usa know the list problem, it's that their importer uses a list too, and don't order that often. Then the boat has to sail over the ocean...
  8. but I can.... And a pic from me there too:
  9. to extend confusion: there might be a difference in how it work out with the newer engine with front crossover or the old one without. The dyno results are from a bike without.
  10. I think you missed some lessons motorcycle design. this bimota design exists since 1980, for next crhistmas let your wife give you the tony foale book: http://www.tonyfoale.com/ until that time read all articles on the articles tab on that webpage.
  11. yes cheap, but he is selling what is available for free. the breva/griso things are on the mc griso website, the rest is downloadable elsewhere. http://www.mgcn.nl/dameijer/index.php?opti...&navstart=0 greg bender has the older stuff on his website.
  12. No jim, the red/grey one is a photoshop. not the real one.
  13. From the anima guzzista forum: the whole ( short) story So it seems not introduced and is at a dealer, the italian way? http://www.guzzisti.it/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16964 Two more http://img119.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1200ssp5.jpg http://img231.imageshack.us/my.php?image=guzzi1200sho6.jpg
  14. the 850 is a shorther stroke 1100, so to big for jane. Well if shae wants, se can. And it's available here some time.
  15. No George, not that easy, pick one. That's a bit harder than naming a lot.

  18. well to add this one, just an engine with the little that is neede to make it a bike, real italian elegant lines where theis one is full of testosteron.

The think the only diffence is between 1999-2000 bikes versus al from the le mans. So tenni and cafe sport should not be a problem at all.
  21. The clutch mounted on other v11 bikes will do. most do have a conventional 2 plate clutch. Do some searching here on clutch, or look here: This was my scura: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1465 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2017 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...1&hl=clutch http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...4&hl=clutch
  22. in the Super Sport Twins , the mgs should ba able to race too. In the low power classes, the one with less weight has the advantage, like the ducati
  23. The 1091 refers to the diameter and the length(160mm) of the spring. Almost all Ohlins springs have a diameter of 57mm so that’s easy, the 1091 in this case means it has a 160mm length (when not on the shock) 26185 must read 26/85 spring rate in lbs/nm where 85 means 8.5 nm And thats just wat I have.
  24. I test rode the 850 griso. And when it doesnt have near the power I'm used to, I could imagine to be happy with the bike. Handeling is great, when you think how long it is.
  25. what you are looking for is made by magni: http://www.magni.it/v11_exhaust.htm
