  1. Ok, you made me do one. The seat has multple lines, you had it correct on one line, but it needs to be a bit more upwards.
  2. this topic has been here before, try the search function. The current ones are vulcanized in the aluminium.
  3. the silencers for your first pictures are to much to the back of the bike, let the point where it's angled upwards start 8 cm earlier. ANd the upswept part should be in parralel with the seat line.
  4. Tires are the cheapest way to change anything. And I can know, because I changed everything. In the end I have a real quick steering bike, wheelbase 1430 mm. But for tires, I think sport tires, instead of sport tour tires wil give more result as they are made for quick steering. I use pilot power now, I like that tire. The first thing I changed on my daytona 10 years ago was a set of eccentric steering head bearings. I was pleased, with them for 9 years, then I let Dynotec cut the steering head and weld it on, steeper. The result is great. But as I told one thing isn't doing it all, I also changed the triple clamps offset, to 30mm. And not forget I have a PVM frontwheel, makes a difference at speed, because it has less gyroscopic effect. The le mans frame was made longer by the factory because some people didn't like the faster steering v11 sport. If you cutoff the steering head, at lot can be taken away. Look at your front wheel alternator cover distance, mine is not much more then 2 inches. I won't start about my swingarm:-)
  5. well an exploded view. part 3 is the oil pickup.
  6. well if you have a windows pc, it should work, you clicked on the red guzzi logo, that brings you to the factory website. But if you have the english flag below on the screen, you can click that, and find your way.
  7. well hubert, as far as I can see, this is the bike with the black swingarm, the ghezzi development bike. That had a breva 1100 oilpan in Assen last year.
  8. no this is an english saxon. They made/make frame with a hossack front like the swallower guzzi has, first with Laverda engines, and later with the triumph 3 cil. The last one was raced by Alan Cathcarth. LAter they have done something on the Muz scorpion design. Motodd is a name cole to that and I think Nigel Hill was the designer. http://www.saxonracing.co.uk/ http://www.richtea.demon.co.uk/laverda/gallery/mark5.htm http://www.biker.co.nz/Reviews.asp?id=154 http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcmail/bears/saxon.html http://www.btinternet.com/~nigel.hill4/saxtrakforks.htm maybe our english members know more about recent things from saxon, because all I can find is pretty old.
  9. and when you are there, click "files", need a yahoo account for that but that's free. then get tree.gif, that shows where the downloaded files should go. Then download v11root http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/v11man.../files/v11root/ and all you find in there. unzip the zipfiles with the option that it recreates the directory stucture. In the end you have a complete cd.
  10. It does have style, what can't be said of the most bikes you can buy. It does make vibes. It looks well finished for such a small company.
  11. well, if the oil pressure is ok, the big end from the cranck isn't hurt from this problem, and he makes shure he has always enough oil in, I see no point why it shouldn't stay working after the repair.
  12. besides lubing, the routing is important. if it's in it's place, first mount the top. Then turn the innerpart on the bottom side to feel it goes very easy. If not, see where it's not as smooth as it can be, and correct. Maybe the part in the angle drive on the tacho needs adjustment?
  13. at the trofeo rosso, marcellino had made one based on the same engine: and it was one like this, see it as a shriked down version of the 500cc they had:
  14. http://www.voxan.com/voxan/gamme_charade.asp TYPE Bicylindre en V à 72° - Refroidissement liquide 4 temps CYLINDREE 996 cm3 - Alésage*Course : 98*66 PUISSANCE MAXIMUM Version France : 100 Cv à 8000Tr/mn COUPLE MAXIMUM 9.7 MKg à 6500 TR/mn 18990 euro is a lot of money. The ammount Guzzi also dares to ask :-) The bmw R1200s is 15.500
  15. the fairing upper part looks like a le mans copy. I don't see them sold here, yes you can buy them, but I don't think it's a market share. The fact that the factory went bankrupt after some time, got started again, and all dealers that had warranty problems from the first owner of the factory were left in the cold. Most had unsold bikes that they had to sell without warranty. This sort of news spreads. And now there is one dealer in the netherlands, a Harley shop. It's not a quality problem, it's an image problem.
  16. the engine has to be dismanteled a bit more to know what happend. Low oil levels give big end problems. Because there was a first owner, we will never know if something has gone wrong in the past. You can change the bigend shells from the bottom. but changing without knowing why they wnat wrong is not a great idea in the long run.
  17. Well, the Brian from G&B was there, spotted at the Anima Guzzista stand And just found the picture from me with the v8
  18. my pictures from the GMG http://www.fastguzzi.nl/gallery/v/GMG2006/ Where was Ghezzi?
  19. When visiting agostini in mandello, I found a brochure with some nice v11 parts. So was there a carbon tank and an alu seatframe. NO Idea of price and availability, maybe Agostini can tell more http://www.cpsspecialparts.com/ http://translate.google.com/translate?sour...zzi%5fita%2ehtm
  20. and the first thing to change is like this: http://www.bodis-exhaust.com/
  21. well, I don't know if they put it there to make us think , but this is from the assembly line. 1200sport looks planned.
  22. Well, I'm back too, I met a lot of people, as always the things organized don't matter, only people and bikes. After fiday when I was there, on my way to the hotel, my gearbox spring broke. I had to drive 10km in first gear, what didn't work because the engine overheated. Then there was thunder and lightning and a lot of rain. This made my engine watercooled so I could reach the hotel. Next morning within half an hour, the guys from TLM, that had the spring with them, changed it. So I could go to Mandello again. Only I didnt take my camera that day so little pictures. Altogheter I had a great time, the trip and being there. Here one picture with a 4v head for all v11 owners that are jealous on 4v heads. Just swap your heads, after you have paid 3000 euro.
  23. before you buy something, I think it doesn't fit. Try the one from the cafe sport first.
  24. well, if you tell what v11 you have I tell you if it's made this way. But if factory, it's only for show, they are still heavy. OR a picture?
