  5. as can be dseen, half of all Dutch v11 have Ohlins forks.
  6. A lot Guzzi had them long ago. In recent years we had: mgs01 daytona centauro daytona RS And in small displacement also V 35 Imola II V 40 Capri V 50 Monza II v 65 lario v 75 long ago: Gambalunga 500, 1947 C 4V - 1924-1927 I may have missed some.

  8. fairing and tail rsv, tank duc ss
  9. looking the pictures it has been stored very wet, shame. 900 miles seem hard to believe. And it's a steep price. it has to be perfect for that price, like new. And when you start driving it, it gets mile and isn't more worth than any other. And here thats max 4500 euro
  10. you see it wrong, pete is more a countryman.

    R1200S

If you compare the 2 engines, they are quite similar. Same valve sizes, same small pushrods on the same single overhead cam. Same output power. Ok cams are connected to the crank with a chain from the back of the crank. Design wise it's like the idea you have from both countrys, hot italian, or wirtschaftlich german. I like it hot. I once steed op a r1100s, it feels like a sofa.
  12. In a forum where people show theire bikes, but are afraid to show there own picture, I don't think we will see their wives. Even dressed:-) mine is in the gallery on my website.
  13. yes, if you have the brake and transmision shifter too. you are not the first. Also centauro owners make the oposite switch.
  14. here is the v11 2001 version of the second one from top. See: different connector? But I think the 2003 and newer bikes with switches like the first one might have different connectors. Why not order the european guzzi switches? v11 sport 01738030 europa 01738035 usa the 2002 has this: I think these are the new style switches. 8 01 73 80 90 1 Dispositivo luci Sx. L.H. lights device Europa 8 01 73 80 95 1 Dispositivo luci Sx. (USA-J-NZ) L.H. lights device (USA-J-NZ)
  15. I this a place where you get this once in a while? Of is this the first one to strike the city ever? Looks scary with houses missing the walls.
  16. it might be related to this also MCN story: Aprilia V4 1000 for 08 Aprilia has confirmed it is building a V4 1000 and plans to race it in 2008 ahead of production in 2009. You’ll find more details about the project in MCN – out on April 5, 2006.
  17. Enough respect for Joey. But does that mean I have to find it a good looking helmet? But feel free to paint your bike in Joey colors. Or v8 green:-)
  18. ugly helmet.
  19. The 2v guzzi's have 45mm tb and the 4V have 50mm tb. If I'm correct on the first, I'm sure on the second. I know one case where someone bolted the daytona Tb to a 2v egine, that was a racer and it didn't stay on long. That was mainly because it didn't run right.
  20. it's interesting, I can tell that having a lighter front wheel, made my bike steer much more easy at speed.
  21. here we have a bike related picture, dani minoque
  22. daytona's are fun. I have an daytona rs in baskets since 2 weeks. 10 days is along time to wait. You only have the ebay pictures now?
  23. why, the breva 750 is smallblock engine, the 850 is the bigblock. 1100> 850? well: stroke from 80>66mm, one sparkplug, shorther primary gearratio, no oilcooler.
