  1. I know someone who had a leaking v11 tank repaired. Only I fotgot how he did it. But it is possible.
  2. Well it says that they are for guzzi, just mail them to ask about the v11.
  3. there are no other guzzi with the same marzochi forks. In the v11, 4 types of marzocchi were mounted. The first series came with 2 series of silver anodisized forks, and the later ones had first 40 mm and later 43mm forks. The 43mm ones with hollow front axcle. The first daytona and sport 1100 carb had marzocchi but that ware no upside down forks. The sport 1100i, daytona rs and centauro had the same wp forks. They were be 10mm shorter.
  4. hmb does ship usu, but he might get an awfull lot of mail, so try again.
  5. well, that was last year. It looks like the factory bike landed on millepercento grounds, it has the same black swingarm. From what I understood, the guy driving that one, is also aprilia testdriver. Bruno Scola has a long relationship with the factory and racing guzzi's. He was in spain with ghezzi when the first endurance race was driven with the mgs.
  6. Guareschi did it again today, and on 3rd place Daniele Veghini from the millepercento team http://www.supertwins.it/ It's close racing there, all finised in same lap. http://www.supertwins.it/dettagliogara.php...gara=g1&turno=d
  7. yes it is sure outside uk:
  8. the bike hasn't been on the road for 1.5 year, so I think it didn't get a v5c, from what I found at the dvla this was from 2005? There is no part in the v5 where the VIN can be filled in, or could it be that that goes in the blue part, v5/1? Online I can check what that gives this: The enquiry is complete The vehicle details for P917 BJT are: Date of Liability 01 12 2004 Date of First Registration 01 05 1997 Year of Manufacture 1997 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 992CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour RED Vehicle Type Approval The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry.
  9. I bought this daytona RS in the UK, I got a v5 document in green and red, seems that the blue part is missing. On this green part is : moto guzzi daytona RS, and 992cc, but no frame number, is that normal, or do I miss something?
  10. orson, buell has told that the xbrr is a deravative from the xb12r, and because they are american, they got it between the lines of the rules, I read the rules, and there has been some bending, I don't think the airbox is the same. It would be hard to tell them that the mgs is a daytona rs with different fairing. My bike would fit in the rules:-)
  11. I know ho he is, what isn't clear is this: the guareschi team is racing, but is the millepercento the same thing or is it a different team, with different bike and driver? millepercento siad it's comming to assen, so wil there be guareschi and millepercento team= 2 mgs01 racing?
  12. If you don't have them custom made, first see what fits best, try in riding position. The same as helmets, some makes fit better wenn you are tall, others when you are wide:-)
  13. jasper, lens and reflector is in one piece, when they are seperated, they are broken:-).
  14. new pictures from bill doll, in my gallery: http://www.fastguzzi.nl/gallery/
  15. From what I read is the buell xbrr roughly the same as the bikes run in the formula extreme last year. If they had a problem there, they could have solved that. Must be hard for Eric.
  16. dutch dealer nesvile has made some pictures of a repair, 3500km old, no problems, ( jet) Couldn't have taken long before problems. http://www.nesville.nl http://www.nesville.nl/Pages/werkplaatsFrame.html here all pictures and one linked direct:
  17. your dealer should be able to find the exact date in the computer from moto guzzi. Here in europe, the dealer has to register the bike in the moto guzzi computer as sold, then the warranty starts. If the bike isn't proper registred in the moto guzzi computer, they will not warrant your claims. As far as I know the system is worldwide. So the dealer also has to register all service the bike gets, because you need to service the bike like the schedule they made for it.
  18. Both forks are 54mm, and can be changed. The other way: if they are 54mm both, why shouldn't you be able to exchange them? they have the same paintcolor? No difference in steering damper mounting? Dont think so either, because the ohlins damper fits instead of the bitubo.
  19. because the car alike clutch configuration guzzi's have been used over the years to put all kinds of car engines in, diesel too. look here for what diesel bikes people have buid. http://www.dieselkrad.info
  20. that isn't an american? right :-) his own boss hog guzzi.
  21. Goffredo, In the wildguzzi list an italian, named guzzista put this: Does he know more or is he guessing? I know guzzi promised a sportive guzzi in the middle of the year.
  22. Congratulations Pete, but what does that mean, it's a sort of light dealership? You get access to all recall bulletins and the service area?
  23. I am very happy with yuasa, my 8ah yuasa lasted 9 years: Guzzi recommends this one: YUASA YTZ12S That fits, only + and - are other way arround, but there is room to move cables to the other side.
  24. well that's because you can make images smaller than 5 megapixel before you upload them. A image from 800x600 is enough. And then you dcan have a lot of pictures in one post.
  25. after a smaller version, when do get the big mac version from the griso, 1400 cc? Problem with smaller bikes is the price, where bikes like sv650 and new er6 are low priced. And in that segment is that important.
