  1. well that is the sort of cars that look fun. doesn't matter to what it compares. Unless you have the "mine is bigger" complex
  2. the netherlands is around 0 degrees C, clear sky. No snow.
  3. I don't get it antonio. Your bike is at a dealer, you know people in mandello, and now you ask if some american makes copies of gearbox parts??? explain please. It would be helpfull if you took the partslist and lookup the numbers from what you need, then we know what it is. but is a manicottO there are 2 used: 04 21 49 00 2 Manicotto scorrevole 3°-5°-4°-6° Moveable hose 3°-5°-4°-6°=114,68 € 04 21 39 00 2 Manicotto scorrevole 1°-2° Moveable hose 1°-2° = 84,62 € from the Ingranaggio terza this consists of 2 gears: 04 21 14 00 1 Ingranaggio 3° vel. (Z=22) Gear 3rd sp. (Z=22)= 78,28 € 04 21 47 00 1 Ingranaggio 3° vel. (z=30) Gear 3rd sp. (z=30) = 131,30 €
  4. where do you need the manual for? the ohlins manuals give the basics, the rest is "fingerspitzengefuhl" ok here the text: Adjusting the "ÖHLINS"telescopic fork (V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa) (figures 55 and 56) The motorcycle has a hydraulic sliding fork equipped with damping adjusters for rebound and compression. The fork is set to the following values at the factory: - Rebound (Allen screw «C» on both fork leg bottoms): 13 clicks from “fully closed position” - Compression (Allen screws «A» and «B» on top plugs): 13 clicks from “fully closed position” - Spring preload (nuts «D» and «E» on top plugs): 13 turns, i.e. 13 mm. Sliders should come out from the handle hub by about 2 mm, that is up to the first round mark on the very slider. Use only Ohlins 1309 oil. Note: do not force the adjusters beyond their stop positions. R.h. and l.h. legs are set to the same values. Hydraulic adjusters have their zero position at their “fully closed position”, whereas spring adjusters have their zero position at their “fully open position”. At assembly, close the wheel pack (pin and clamps at leg bottom) in the end, after pumping the fork twice or thee times up and down so to adjust the forks and their parallel position one to the other. Do not change these settings so not to affect vehicle stability and safety while riding. Adjusting the "ÖHLINS" rear monoshock (V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa) (figures 57,58 and 59) The motorcycle has a monoshock equipped with separate adjusters for spring preload and hydraulic braking during rebound and compression. The fork is set to the following values at the factory: - Rebound (ring nut «A»): 14 clicks from “fully closed position” - Compression (adjuster «B»): 12 clicks from “fully closed position” - Spring preload (nuts «D»): 15 mm starting from unloaded spring. Use only Ohlins 105/1 oil. Turn the ring nut “A” to adjust hydraulic braking during rebound depending on single needs and motorcycle load. Turn the adjuster “B” to adjust hydraulic braking during compression. Loosen the ring nut “C” and turn the ring nut “D” clockwise or anti-clockwise with a pin wrench to adjust spring preload. Turn clockwise to increase spring preload. Note: lubricate the threading between the monoshock body and the ring nut «D» with “SVITOL”, oil or grease so as not to damage the threading. Hydraulic adjusters have their zero position at their “fully closed position”, whereas spring adjusters have their zero position at their “fully open position”. Do not change these settings so not to affect vehicle stability and safety while riding.
  5. The guy is ok, he sells in ebay, and if noone else bids you can have it for 1200, or more(1490) if you buy direct. The forks are what is used in rossa corsa and cafe sport. Nothing wrong with them, maybe you need different springs, but try it first. They are longer than most forks, just as the v11 forks= 770 top to centre axcle. You might need a new adapter to mount the brakes, they are 65mm distance, you have 40mm I think? Want to know more, the is a very long topic about it : http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1201&hl=
  6. no beause the marzochi won't be Ohlins after an insert. And 390 pound is some 500 euro? sell the marzzochi for 250 pound then you are near.
  7. that's hmb-guzzi.de who got all v11 leftovers from factory, he has plenty:
  8. Or goto: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/ then click the english flag in the left upper corner, if you have a part number just fill it in, or in the keyword field type in falcone. That gives you all falcones parts. You see: not that hard? or mail me.
  9. I see a complete le mans fairing in germany for sale: http://35229.rapidforum.com/topic=101376164781 What you need else are a set handlebars, headlight. To triple clamps are the same, the mold part is, only you have some holes left over from the mounting now. If you cant read german, http://www.worldlingo.com/en/websites/url_translator.html
  10. getting salt on the bike at a first ride, not my idea, you never get it clean again. It goes everywhere.
  11. Well, for a car I have a different selection crirteria then for a bike. It should be comfortable and economic. So this is my third Volvo. A V40 2.0 automatic on gpl. Owning a car is throwing away money, the way they depreciate is awfull. I like alfas too, but they depreciate more then I want to pay.
  12. carl, now put the 5 amp back in again, the bike knows what you're up to now.
  13. this should be a fast buell, 150 claimed HP , this are the buell fashion colors
  14. Greg, the door left doesn't give access to the right in the box, where one of the parts is that needs changed. From what I remember these are parts on seconday shaft and transmission shaft. If you are no magician that would require taking the shafts out. Things behind the "door" are limited to the sping things.
  15. greg from someone who did it,I know there are a lot of parts to change. http://www.guzzipfarrer.at/coppa-italia.html
  16. did you get them out? If you how heavy they are, they should never have a problem. MAybe if there gets water in, so they rust.

Ia, I don't how it's in your county but here directionlights have to be 11 inches separated from each other at the rear. So not legal, what if you have an accident and they claim they didn't see your lights, lawyers love it. No plate light too. I stick with my own (legal)solution:
  18. You don't have to tell the wife that's an extra?
  19. with the lc1 you can use this to connect to a pda device for logging. http://72.138.187.243/bradatech_corp/bluet...erial_LCXD1.asp So you can have the pda in your pocket and have it logging. They have software for that too. A simple analog meter connected to have an average display on your dash completes it. Or the xd1 as a luxery display.
  20. and some more in germany:
  21. This is not to hard to do, if you have the parts, one afternoon will do. From time to time on ebay are complete sets for sale. There is one in germany who bought all stock from guzzi v11 parts, www.hmb-guzzi.de ,mail him if he has the parts for you .
  22. I found another griso proposal: http://www.loversmc.com/originalp.htm
  23. that first file is gone here some alternatives http://www.ultimategarage.com/Ultgar2y.htm http://www.awesomegarage.com/
  24. driving in paris with a car is a lot of fun. going with a car you can get more feeling with the country. Renting a car with one of the big companys, let you take a car in paris and leave it on a german airport when you leave. I have good experiences with http://www.europcar.com but there are more.
  25. Paul, being able to buy a bike with your own name must be special. I couldn't resist either. And having 2 new babies at once is great. Mike that termis look great, how does it work with the different sound levels, do they have an insert with it? It looks like they have little volume for damping material. These pipes would be good on the griso
