  1. I'm not good in the old stuff, Pete is, but what I've seen, the crank dimensions are different depending on alternator make used. From what I've seen in the picures it's the same as on daytona/v11 used, same Ducati unit.

  8. I had a punto as rental car this summer in italy. It's much more real car than I expected. But when I was back, my Volvo felt nicer:-)

    The "issue" might be the clutch, some have exploded. Others are happy with it. Other than finish and ohlins there is no difference with same year v11 naked. So they share bad engine paint.

  14. That's an interesting option, better to put away somewhere than the Innovate LM1 I have. And dualchannel. For the same money of a single channel LM1. But: it can't log data, other than on a pc, that I dont carry with me all the time. I read the manual, and the software isn't as nice as Inovate software. But theire marketing sucks, I did a lot of google searches before i got the LM1, I've never seen them mentioned.

  22. well even in the pciture the db5 looks more heavy, jsut more things on it. from 156 to 120,> all fastners and lot of other parts titanium, magnesium wheels, everything trimmed minimum. When you have ever bought some titanium bolts, you know what that costs.   24. Mark, they aren't Anodized, the material doesn't lend itself for that. The original red is paint.
  25. It's not fair, that engine is so much lighter. But 125kg for a complete bike sounds incredible. Ducati builds 170/180 bikes arround this engine. But that's with lights and legal stuff, duoseater. The bike did well in italian supertwin championship. to compare, Aprilia RS 250 = 140 kg But without lights can be less.
