  1. I like your plates. And the breva gets?
  2. your problem might be that you have to take the small cover of the center of the bolt that holds the steering stem. A nife carefully under it will do the job.
  3. the race in assen is always on saturday, for the next 10 years it is. It was rossi indeed, great race again. Man these moto gp make a lot of noise! Was fun to be there
  4. To make ik more confusing, any other magazine will have different test results. What tyres were in the extreme league?
  5. Mandello is 200 meters above sea level, according the the site from the commune di mandello. Monitoring the fuel thing isn't a bad thing. I'm going to buy a wideband Lambda meter with logging. Then you can see after a ride what has happend. And adjust.
  6. I'm in Assen saturday. See how things go.
  7. on the road. Pilot sport is an older tyre, needs time to warmup, else no grip. I only see good stories about pilot power.
  8. I don't see a lot of people on diablo corsa. But every sportsrider goes to michelin pilot power. I have one on the rear, the front bt 010 was to new to trow away. And since last weekend michelin is the tyrecompany:-(
  9. well in the past there have been more big block models on one line if I'm correct? If we have 200 production days in a year. And now they build 20-30 brevas on a day as Rocco Sabelli tells. That gives 6000 bikes maximum. In the case they build that 2030 on one line. So 6000 on each line gives 12000, thats more than they want to build(can sell) right now. But isn't there enough place to have a third line if in the past so much more bikes were made? I know I was talking too, and know he can't tell all he knows. But regarding 3th place, that has been a 4th place in the first race, if the one in front of him didn't have problems. Number one was a lot quicker, 998RS half a real superbike, makes it hard to win from. Maybe he came to assen with the idea that if they could win in the supertwins race they could do the same in Assen. I don't know if they go to Festival ITALIA Motopark Oschersleben 16.-17. Juli. From promotional view that would be good.
  10. a complete new cali is in the works, as Ghezzi told me weeks ago.
  11. low speeds is no problem, lows revs is. For the driveline, but nothing else as with any guzzi. If you don't mind the part above 230km/h then you can change the primary gears in the gearbox to the v11 ones, it will make the gear ratio the same as with a v11.
  12. explain the connection between your wife and the camera :-) I had family things.
  13. that's street, look here to see. http://www.newportcycleparts.com/categorie...irelli_sprt.htm
  14. supercorsa is a great tyre. there are 2 versions, same look different rubber. there is a street legal version, and there are the race versions, the race versions are in 3 compounds called 1 2 3 where one is soft and 3 is hard. The race versions are basicaly as near as a slick as you can get with profile. Used in lots of hobby racing, also by me. They are no rain tyres. That's not there strenght. The road version has a different rubber mix adjusted to a wider operating temperature, and is default on rsv-r aprillia's I only know the race version, sticks like bubblegum.
  15. Well performance is, eh, different from a rsv. You have to take one for a spin to see if the style fits you. For pictures, look in the gallery, or here, all pictures posted in the topics: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/displimg.php
  16. There is a story that de Tomaso himself designed the daytona tank, who could argue with him? Dr john isn't small either. And I must say, i'm 1.90 mtr, I have no problems with ergonomics. But if you are small, it might get uncomfortable. Pierro Laverda is a tall man too.
  17. Thta might be a reason why the alu timing gears are gone on the mgs. The intend was to make a road version, so the engine noise had to come down. The mgs I heard in assen had little engine noise.
  18. Alex that was: No Guzzi sportsbikes. But it is Italy, so you never know for sure. for the rest: Griso, then see a "GS" version of the breva 1100. After that a complete new cali.
  19. Here capirossi next to a not to tall italian guy. Capirossi is very small and light. Left you see a part of me, i'm 1.90 tall. to compare how small they are.
  20. Hi keith, if all that have a no problem v11 would write it here, the ratio problem / no prpoblem v11 would go down. New people looking here what a v11 is about find a lot of probrem pages. Most who don't have problems don't write it. Glad to see youre happy with it.
  21. No it's that I don't know what I'm going to need. In the past I used to have a gascable. But it won't brake, so I leave it at home. The first one is in service for more than 40.000 km. Once I've had a problem with a fuse going out, but that was my own fault. It was no fun:-(
  22. I don't take anything with me.
  23. My 1000 sp had it too. To low revs in a high gear and opening the throttle made the noise. So what's new?
  24. so the jackal is running? How does it drive?
  25. just found a movie, no guzzi's on it but more an impression. 14 minutes Made by Joost Boerman http://www.duc.nu/onzin/Ducati_Clubrace_2005.wmv
