No that one stays the same, you need part 3, between both bearings in the wheel. And becuase all weels are different, you need to measure the lenght first. Guzzi makes the spacers all equal, and there we see peoples wheel bearings break. I had cafe sport forks, the same as Al and Jaap have. They are 54mm in the triples, and yours has that too. Measure it. Did you cantact Antonio? I asked him and he can deliver, no problems.

the question is, why didn't they sell the bike to to second bidder? Or were they themselves the ones who acted as the scambidder, becuase they didn't like the price?

Throttle Body Butterfly Inefficiencies
Paul Minnaert replied to al_roethlisberger's topic in Technical Topics
Al, the 916 set does the same as guzzi. Just as much thinking put into it. If it hurts? But you noticed that there is a difference! -
Throttle Body Butterfly Inefficiencies
Paul Minnaert replied to al_roethlisberger's topic in Technical Topics
I have a 916 throttle body at home,I will check how that works. -
Ive seen the breva 1100 in flesh last week, a dealer in amsterdam has one. It looks very good finished. The gearbox has no single component in common with the v11 gearbox. The 4 axcle design is gone, more like the 5 speed, all gears on one axcle. I think it's cheaper. It looks like a great tourer to me. All people with a calli will love it when they drive it, I suppose. CLose your eyes, and think what changes when the upper 30cm of the bike( tank/seat/tail) is exchanged for something else. classic. The griso will have a lot of parts in common I think. And why not. The same buildingblock strategy as used on tonti's and the daytona/centauro/sport 1100 range

only guzzi gets the fg313. ohins can't help. which axle you use doesn't matter for the spacers, And first see that you get forks, and then think about the axcle/spacers. The spacer in the wheel, has to be measured on the wheel, the lenght is different on each wheel. Such a marzocchi looks good, if it is as good as it looks??. But if you have a problem with one spacer, don't even think about such a thing, that's then 100x difficult for you. I know because I build 3 different forks in my bike last 3 years:-)

again on the fender, I had a rsv mille R fender, that has the same mount. BEtter looks from my perspective, and it does a better job keepping the bottom fork legs from debris. The thing is they are made by aftermarket companys, for less than half the price as oem.

The mudgard is the same for massive and hollow axle. But is different from the marzochi one, carbon or not. -So you have a marzochi mudgard or an ohlins fitting mudgard. -The rosso hasn't ohlins forks. But the axle is the main difference. between scura and cafe sport. MAybe it's adjusted different, but that can be changed. - these forks aren't available from ohlins only guzzi sells them, I suppose for a price you don't want to know. 2a= yes 2b depends on where how you get one. I think antonio has one for sale? 2c= duc 999 is nicer finished:-) 2d you only need a spacer for beween the bearings.

6 from 600 is one procent. The breva 1100 doen't need these problems, and I hope they have learned in mandello. But since they had to take back a lot of calli single plate clutches that must have been noticed there.

The all in one version is 548 euro, the double version is 793 euro. Then add 70 euro for the tacho pickup. only in german: it's called "Kombiinstrument" http://www.moto-spezial.de/
-
well, depends on what you are willing to pay. I just got a moto Spezial tach. That can be held in 3 versions, only tacho, tach with ignition, and tacho with injection computer. They can be in single or dual version, with the single you have speed and rpm in the same thing. No breaking cables anymore! single, with all lights too. You can also have the rpm and tacho switched, so rpm big and tacho small. double in conventional look.
-
I downloaded the Breva 1100 owners manual: SINGLE PLATE CLUTCH! There were more than 4 scura with failed clutches. I think we counted 6 They all started cracking arround the center. Maybe the bolts came loose? I don't know from rosso mandello's with failed clutches.

2002+ V11 Sport Models *DO* Have The Diode
Paul Minnaert replied to al_roethlisberger's topic in Technical Topics
The diode there is not the transil diode as Al hoped for. Nor is it helping to protect against oever voltage -
Should I add parts like these to my 1100i?
Paul Minnaert replied to Alex-Corsa's topic in Technical Topics
part1 , i'm not going to say anthing more about clutches, there is a very long tread about them find it. and you know. part2 It's that pete roper is on holiday in the usa, else he would have told you why not. maybe it's in a tread here too. -
Well I have seen one broken on a 1100 sport, but it's the only one I know that broke. Mine lasts 11 years:-), still working. I know the temptation to get spare parts: have a gearbox, reardrive, and 2 centauro engines:-) But smaller parts, are easy to get when they break. One of the cafe sports that was on ebay a few weeks ago(without forks) is parted out also. That are new parts. The guy needed the gearbox for his daytona. Most v11 are parted out for the gearbox:-), still a lot of centauro/sport1100/daytona owners that want to upgrade their bike. Front parts aren't there, but maybe he has them, just send him a message. What is a carapace? I know a tail, seat, tank and some more parts, but what the hell is a carapace??
-
also in germany a supertwin for sale, 11500 euro. www.ztk.de, it's not on the site. it's a black one, black engine, double brakes in front.
-
they get enough questions about it. But they don't know if they do it. First the second bike has to be ready.

Robin, These are pictures from a replica, build on centauro base Lighting from a 999 headlight aprilia leonardo
-
robin, I have been thinking if I did it the right way:-) But since the euro, I lost the feeling for it. So spending euro's as if they were guilders, which they aren't , they are more then 2 times the value. But at that money they are expensive. A lot more then PVM. They go for 2300 euro.
-
that isn't extreme, if i'm correct 3700 pound = 2590 euro. disks are 250 each at least, and a set tyres 350, is left 1740 euro for the wheels, can't buy PVM for that. And I know:-)
-
hi Robin, what do they charge for a set of wheels? I think when it's ok pricewise, it's a nice upgrade for v11/daytona owners. With cushdrive in the rear.
-
Brandon, you get the needle bearings with races / caps. As long as you are not witing to long with changing, because then the hole joint will be gone. Melted:-)
-
I think best is to take the joints off, if you have them in your hand, you can feel if they are moving without play. And not heavy. IF that feels ok, you can fit a zerk fitting and add grease. The small neddle bearings inside can be replaced, available at a beairing shop. Or seach for a company that does if for you. These things are also used in an industrial environment.
