  1. They were for a long time at deas mototec in the sales. I think they are not very light. From pvm site: weights of all wheel types are approximately the same, front: 3.5x17" = 5 kg, 6x17" = 8.5 kg
  2. check the links section, but most are for the first v11 sport, but most is the same anyway.
  3. The laverda six was at the trofeo rosso last year, It's a long bike, and looks heavy too. It has a very long swingarm, passing the gearbox. Look at my trofeo rosso pictures, or the video on their site, to see it.
  4. probleem opgelost, ik heb Peter een kabeltje gestuurd.
  5. Todd, the newer one( 2004) is on biesels site, mentioned in another tread. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4563 It would be nice if guzzi themself would put them all on the internet. Ducati has them all online. And the mgs01 is also online. For the rest, they are available but people hessitate to put them online because they don't know if the copyright thing is a problem. If there could be an official statment from Guzzi, that parts lists aren't a problem in this respect, that would give you all catalogs online. But best was if Guzzi did it. As a customer service.
  6. Peter is moving houses, so other priorities. But he had a new guzzi project in his mind so we might see him back.
  7. another jay leno bike? If money is so much available, you buy these sort of bikes. Maybe I would.
  8. the race version, is an empty box, not a well flowing design I think.
  9. on the IOM there are 2 acording to Peter Hindley: There are TWO MGS/01's on the Island !!!. One belongs top Paul Dedman (Unfortunate name for a TT rider !!), the other to Glynn Jones, another TT privateer. ...
  10. Goffredo, when you speak him, can you ask if the parts from the mgs can be ordered. Some parts are interesting to more people. Like the wheels, they will fit in other guzzi's too. And so are there more parts. The sparepartscatalog was put online at the guzzi website.
  11. Goffredo, I'm curious where the 40 bikes went, can you find out how much to each country? I know 2 are deliverd on Man 2 are sold in germaney trough daes motec 3 are on sale in england. where is the rest? And how much of them are sitting in a shop?
  12. so you have to wait 10 days, that must be killing. Are you going to try to get it licensed on the road? Headlight is from a aprilia leonardo.
  13. I can't see what you see, but should be is the euro symbol. We get it with the right ALT key and the 5 pressed. I can do that with an US windows version, and US-international keybord selected. It looks like a rounded fat E
  14. Rob, some misunderstanding here, I designed the parts in Solidworks, an expensive 3d drawing package, that I can use because of my work as system administrator. Then my parts are made in on the machines we have for our students. But as you see they can make usefull things. But I've been standing a lot of hours watching the machine doing it's work. We get a new small high speed milling machine next week, The guy from the workshop asked me if I had sonething he could make with it:-) My costs were the aluminium. But if you want to try the emachineshop software, you can download it free, and try how difficult it is.
  15. get me the nurse
  16. it's always in time for summer, what year?
  17. I suppose they expect that there are only 4 people in the Uk that will buy one. I'm sure if I order 10 , I can get 10. They only have to replaint a few balalbio's, add some ohlins and ready.
  18. If you make things, you get a better feel why some aftermarket products are expensive. the things I made on this cnc thing.
  19. they can make a lot. not strange that autocad can do more, but you need to get used to it. I prefer solidworks designing this sort of parts. And the pleasure is great to have self drawn parts on your bike. working on this one now: how it is in alu is shown here: triple clamps in progress
  20. well I checked a bit more, the never 2003/2004 versions have even more parts added. And some changed. And then the mgs01 gearslector has some changed parts too, again. Nice thing there is that the selector shaft, that is teh one that sticks out, and get operated from your foot has needlebearings. Maybe that is possible to do yourself with some machining. But if you have nothing to do, find al changes, here are the documents
  21. or forgot to mount in the first series?
  22. Jaap cant wait.
  23. I just have been looking in the parts list from teh gearbox, and I see there that a number of parts arround the selector are changed from frame number: KT 111436, as far as I could check are the partnumbers before this change all the same from 1999
  24. no that's Wilhelm. Now out of context, disinformation? ernst:
