  1. The guy from rennsport ( can't remember his name either)has lived some years in the netherlands. In that time I had an exaust made for the daytona. I went to misano motors, where also rennsport was, because they had a dynoyet setup. The first thing they said was that I copied there exaust, but mine wasn't going to work. That was proved wrong on the dynoyet:-) The rennsport pipes were known for cracking, thin pipe that didn't resist vibration. The same layout can be had from deas motec. He disapeard when he owed a lot of people money, and we never heard from him again. the mikuni's:
  2. PVM has designed and manufactured an innovative 6 piston 2 pad radial mount caliper. This caliper with increase braking performance via increased pad area. It has been designed to be a bolt on upgrade to the OEM calipers supplied by Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha. These calipers should be in production and available by the end of January 2005. The retail price will be $1449.00 each.
  3. well since you have the same brakes as a duc 996, there should be choice.
  4. earth problems? The alternator is making serious amps at that moment
  5. Hank, I hope you are happy with the tail, that's why I started making them. Guzzi doesn't deliver paint, nor are there paintcodes, yes the codes exist, but your paintshop doesn't know them. Best is to go with the original part to a carpaintshop, they can mix paint to that color. Or just bring it to a paintshop to get painted, then they sort it out.
  6. ken, these are normal m5( metric 5mm) bolts

  8. Today I got the front disks I couldn't resist, PVM very light design.
  9. This is how your griso can look like, when you bring it to firestartergarage
  10. You can connect it to the inlet manifold. I had it on my scura, and it gives a smoother running. You only have to connect it to one side.
  11. a one point jack doesn't look that stable to me. When your bike one time comes to the floor, you haven't saved much money. TLM has the original shop stand cheap.
  12. for all who is interested, if you can't have an mgs, here is the shop manual/exploded detail view /parts list: mgs manual
  13. after the key thing it has to lift at the back first, but maybe it's tight, then push it first down at the back, while turning the key.

  15. and we call it "the darkroom"
  16. No, the german is Arno Wollensak.
  17. The wheels are made by brembo. Brembo owns also marchesinni, the "expensive" wheels manufacturer. So you need 2 legs and a wheel? or more. Isn't a problem here in europe, I don't know what's available over the ocean.
  18. I heard from luap that it was hit by an virus/worm that gets phpbb infected, he is working on it. The german wolrld of guzzi forum had the same a few days ago.

  21. Carl, There is a model for the v11 sport and another one for the le mans and other "long frame" bikes. They have a different stucture between pork shop plates and gearbox.
  22. They aren't going to work, the aprilia forks aren't 54mm. Plus that original aprilia parts are very expensive and not so nice made. An aftermarket set like the one on the picture is 200 euro. These are very light and well made.
