    Presents!!!!!

no idea what that is, pictures please!
  2. I put the divx movie( that I downloaded from Ken) on a webserver with big internet link. Is 675Mb , link to divx codec is on the page. Link: moto guzzi video
  3. it's so light because of exchanging most of the bolts and axles with titanium. Rearframe is still original. more pictures in my webalbum from the v11 meeting: http://community.webshots.com/album/186611725XBabWC
  4. well freddy, If you want to see the bike live, come to the circuit "Ledenon" on 27/28/29 -3-2005. The owner lives in france and isle of man
  5. to clear things a bit: Clipons are mounted under tripleclamp. They are very narrow adjusted. The silencer is no cheap copy of the g&B mufler. This is a complete custom made titanium silencer. Also the internals are quite different. The color on the outside is titanium nitrate. Sound isn't approved, but license is from the isle of man, there is anything allowed. Sounds really nice deep. Sidestand is a piece of titanium, that is taken of, and goes into the hollow rear axle( titanium too) when driving. This bike has so much titanium. And is 180 kg
  6. These are srewed to the top and bottom triple clamps: http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/v11/gb/v11/css/v11_203.htm
  7. antonio, I know, this seems unbelievable for an italian, that women not always like man going after them like horny dogs. Ask your wife if she likes that.

    Difference?

fearing and maybe headlight. clipons on to of the fork legs mounted. First Ohlins model was the scura, followed in 2003 by the corsa rossa and cafe sport.
  9. Antonio, maybe because each time there is one, she gets so much attention she gets shy. They all leave after a week.

    I did it

i must be crazy So you get ik under the tree? I hope you're happy, not crazy. You will find here a lot of v11 knowledge. Just ask.
  12. if you want one, There is one in the shop in italy, 20.000 euro: But looking at the site, I think he is going to keep it for himself. http://www.primomoretti.it
  13. Well, It's easier to test things quick if you just can drive it on the street, so this would be the test-prototype for the mgs01 corsa. Or the personal funbike from mr ghezzi hemself :-) Little chance that this one is going to make it a s streetbike like this. This could have been the testbike to see if the engine would survive on the road in commuter traffic. Test result: negative
  14. Today was a triple clamp day again. It realy starts to be like it should. More pictures on my homepage
  15. Brian, get the tree.gif, look at it. Then download v11root and all that's in it. Extract the zipfiles, so that you get the files like in tree.gif. The files are there in the directory stucture.
  16. well did you look here? http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/v11manuals/ look under the 'files' section. that gives you an v11 sport workshop manual with a parts list that has the whole thing exploded. Download the bunsh and put files like in the image with it.
  17. If it was magnesium, that's very corrosive, add some moisture/salt and they are gone. you have to go a lot below zero before these metals loose their strenght. But if it was magnesium, you have mounted them yourself I suppose. The weightsaving doesn't weigh the safety issue here.
  18. the manual, can be dowloaded from guzzi, see link on the links on top of this page.
  19. that's not going to work, the sport 1100 frame is 20mm wider where the plates mount. So you can machine an adapter ring( 20mm each side) if you realy want it. I don't think there are more differences, unless your pivot bolts have a different size, they can be 20 or 22mm. i agree on the looks. Maybe with some searching you can get a used pair, let them sandblast , and they are new. And you have to make something to mount the rearframe, or change the rearframe:-) So I bet you're not going to do it.
  20. If you can't have one, then build your own. two austrian guzzisti are building on a centauro base, the way to have things road legal. http://www.guzzipfarrer.at/chassis-MGS-01.html
  21. I've seen pictures with michelin slicks on the mgs corsa, they should do when it's dry:-)
  22. Yes they are, but there is also a road legal version, that's mounted as oem on the aprilia RSV R and factory, diffent compound, same (little) profile. The road version has a wider temperature range.
  23. that's from the 1100 sport I suppose? agressive oil you have :-) Over the years they tend to become porosive, but I haven't seen it this worse.
  24. look into the links section, the links to them are there
  25. bearings with different innner and outer ring sizes? that should be in the specs then. What I know is that my front wheel with a proper spacer, after a year the inner ring turns very light, just as mounted. I don't use the spacer that goes through the bearing, but same size bearings with a alu tube between them. Just a bit loctite on the tube so it doesn't fall out when i remove the axle.
