  1. well matieu that's cheap, but I did buy the brembo radial 2 month ago. I stay with that. Al, apart from the radial calipers, you also need other brake disks. The calipers are made for narrow track disks. Look at my disks.
  2. The magura is the same as the PVM, only the PVM ( made by magura) has 3 positions where the pivot where the brake rotates around can be put in. So you can change the ratio, without buying another handle. The disicati is not sold in many places, and so pretty unknown.
  3. I did find interesting spooked wheels on this one, someone for the apehanger? Front brake?
  4. In the end I got a new brembo from the shop not much more than the prices on ebay. The PVM is nicer but even more expensive. I just mounted the new clipons, nice gold.
  5. make that 2, one to use, and one to look at, and use as spare parts donor when the other needs it.
  6. I had seen this too. The radial conversion set is new around 1100$, and fits the road and track forks, when used with the oem ohlins, 15 mm are added to the lenght of the forks. I did mail the guy what he wanted for forks& radial conversion. I don't know how high the reserv is set. There is a complete set, where it is mounted, on ebay also, for big money. And another set for gsxr, only with 108mm caliper mounting, and for that no cheap brembo's. Or you have to go with tokiko calipers, not.
  7. they are finished, look they are in the USA!
  8. well, this is the first prototype made. See the head covers, they never came back.
  9. they have more than one...
  10. IF you use a beamer, they might be even bigger
  11. DÄS is not your cheap solution. Just call the other two. REgarding weight, I have no clue what these thinghs weigh, my last spoked wheel bike was 25 year ago. If you want light wheels, get the trick Dymag carbon rims!!. Ducati has complete wheels in the ducati performance catalog. The front wheel might fit. Maybe the price not http://www.dymag.com/Wire%20Spokes.htm Typical weight for 17 x 3.5in Front: 3.1kg
  12. I did search some links at home: found moto weismann: http://www.moto-weissmann.de/ 00 00 24 62A Speichenvorderrad 5.50-17 V2A-Sp. M4,5 für schlauchlos abgedichtet Brutto: 532,14 EUR Netto: 458,74 EUR 00 00 24 59A Speichenvorderrad 350-17 V2A-Sp. M4,5 für schlauchlos abgedichtet Brutto: 526,96 EUR Netto: 454,28 EUR http://www.mts-ricambi.de/ they do make their own
  13. You should look to the east, germans have a long history in putting spoked wheels in guzzi's http://www.motorradschwingen.de/html/bilder_speichen_3.html http://www.mandello-cycles.de/ http://www.v2moto.de If you want easy ready to mount that will be more expensive. If you get the parts toghther here and there cheaper. And why should it be tubeless? In any tyre a tube will go in?
  14. If you spoked wheels, then go classic all the way:

Those G&B wheels have no cush drive, you gearbox won't thank you for that. Only real good wheels are from PVM. See www.pvm.de The paoli are better than stock v11, but not near Ohlins.
  16. well al, I'm happy with a pair rsv-r radial caliper 2003 forks. they are shorther, but that's no problem for me.
  17. Hi antonio, I did contact paolo, in the first mail he said he had the radial, the second he said he only had scura forks. These look like the ones I have, but as if they did not extend fully, because the 105 is 120 with mine. and the lenght is also to short. Mine are 770 from top to centre axle. Something wrong internaly? Ask the number on the inside of the bottom, that gives where it was made for. It's an fgxxx number, mine are fg313
  18. antonio, talking abou forks or what? What do you mean with 105? the travel lenght? I might have my ohlins forks for sale in the future. I want a shorther one, and radial brakes .
  19. here are bub's: bub
  20. I must confess that my scura wasn't original: The original clutch disintegrated, and destroyed the engine and gearbox. Under warranty I got a new engine/grearbox, this time , as I asked with a traditional clutch. I have never driven it with the single plate clutch. But with new box/engine it was very easy to drive with, city and country. And that was from a new engine, so "that has to run in" is no excuse. An ideal sports tourer. Not only for guys who love guzzi's. One guy who wanted to buy it came of a jap bike, he was very pleased with how well it drove. No complaints about anything. So I don't know if the clutch can make this much difference, or there is more wrong. Hard to tell from a distance. See if you can find someone with an v11 in the neighbourhood to compare. Or do a testdrive at another dealer:-)
  21. Carl, these shafts are not the same, the splines are different, realy not interchangable.
  22. search in the forum for topics with the word clutch in it. If the clutch is starting to make serious more noise as usual, there might be something realy wrong.
  23. the transmission play and gearshift might be related to each other. I had a scura, and it shifted like any jap bike: smooth, but I have to say, I did have the traditional 2 plate clutch in it, not the single plate scura clutch. The scura clutch is known for making noise, some have been replaced under warranty. What do you mean that on/off trottle is a problem, what is the problem?
  24. Their part number is: 015731350099 Then goto the database and fill in this number, choose "By part number" and there you are database It migth work with this direct, but they change that link sometimes http://www.tlm.nl/db/bag_en.asp?artnr=760 or just mail to: parts@tlm.nl
  25. The magni australia tail isn't wide enough for the rearframe. So if you anr't planning a real rebuild, no option. And what I also think is that the magni tail is to thin opticaly compared to the tank. I'm going to do a small series of these magni tails, with alu subframe. Basicaly for the daytona/sport1100, but that should fit the v11 too. The only single tail I know of, is the prototype made for the v11 in 1998, but isn't for sale. I've been thinking about doing a single seat version like that, but it will also require a new seat and mounting hardware
