  1. As you look atthe picture, it's at tlm. But the kit is from armec, from switserland armec
  2. sidecars can be fun al, take an old 916, some homework, there you go.
  3. Al, I put that thing under the scew, on the gearboxtop, where the seat lock sits. Your bracket looks clean, but it is a stange location for the thing. Will get dirty. Why else not under the seat, must be some space left there?
  4. You did open up the box ? It needs the real intake air temperature.
  5. most of the time cages behind me, I don't care about them
  6. aquila, things even got worse, someone made a complete tailsection to get rid of the fender, sells you a led light and plate holder with it and is even more expensive. And only because he hated the look of simple fender eliminators. So why don't you make your own.
  7. Well, If we throw in self made stands, I made this one last week for the daytona. It needs different sizes. But the ammount of time it cost, buy one!!
  8. there is only one real good stand, that's the opne from guzzi that gets under the gearbox mounting points. maybe that's the one you mean? It's easy to operate, stable
  9. I suppose it's a turbo? gasket only damage? if it can hold this power, they could have constructed lighter.
  10. Al, in the states you get your bikes a year later then produced? The le mans I took my gearbox from was a champagne, that was on the road in 2001. v11 sports were produced in 1999/2000 , sold long after that.
  11. The TLM site is not very userfriendly:-) just send a mail to parts@tlm.nl you get an awnser right away. You can pay with credit card. Or goto: tlm parts catalog and click part number, fill in: 015731350099 and see the result, you can order there too. price is 377 euro = +/- 483 us $ ex tax.
  12. yu are close, look at the tree.gif file there, and then download the v11root and all parts below it. unzip the parts like the tree.gif sugests
  13. There is a service manual you can buy at your dealer. Or you can download it from the web. go here: go there to the "download zip files here!"
  14. The brake and rear light is combined. It lights stonger when braking. The brake light is strong, I've checked with a feind, driving behind me. No problem. And for Europe, it has the E numbers so it's a tested & allowed device. They won't give it that stamp if the light is too weak.
  15. The paint on the 01 and 02 modelyears is wrinkle finish. But it's not said that they all get problems. The 03 and newer have flat black paint. No known problems with that paint. I talk about buildyears, not the years they come out of a shop. That could have been later:-)
  16. I had it longer in my mind, but now I have a scura, it had to be done. I got a carbon version of my tailsection. It's still unfinished, and has to get a clear coat. If it's interesting to sell, I don't know, it's quite a bit more expensive than the other version. You don't have the hassle( and costs) to get it painted the right color. Only a clear coat. Let me know what you think. Or view full size pictures in my webalbum: My Webalbum
  17. Well Doc I have such a frame with cut of legs. But I also cut of the half round small plate from the top, because I could use that:-).
  18. Ok an other one from left side. Did I tell that I have the ohlins trio complete? steeringdamper and reardamper too. The steeringdamper will be invisible on pictures, and rear has to come in.
  19. Well Jaap, I hope I get rid of the scura long before that, so that leaves me with one bike.
  20. and the wheel mounted
  21. I think there's no part nr for that, as it comes in the bar vulcanized. So you have to make your own solution, or buy a new bar.
  22. what a marketing rubbish! Yes it did 20 rounds on a circuit:-)
  23. mgs_01 wheel? Took some time but I found the picture:
  24. Yesterday I got my rearwheel from Dynotec. The weight saving against the V11 wheels is 1.5 kg for front and 3kg for rear. So 4.5 kg less to move:-) Expensive kilo's :-) Now I'll design the brake adapter, and than that can be made next week.
  25. Pete, as you can see on the gearbox, the cable there goes straight to the battery.
