  1. Over here the "Castrol MTX SAE 75W140" is quite popular. No moly necessary with this oil. In case you feel the need for a new love, now that your old ginger/raspberry one so shamelessly disappointed you, you might find one here: http://www.castrol.com/castrol/sectiongenericarticle.do?categoryId=9029458&contentId=7053912 Especially the Tribol 1100 looks rather atractive. No wonder, as this oil promisses the antiageing factor we're all after. Hubert
  2. Nah, don't mention it. One of the last 4 cigarettes on a very early sunday morning will do. Hubert
  3. I've put most of mine also into the gallery. My special thanks go to the ARSE-Team-2010 for this night's most funny entertainment. It's really been a relaxed and strengthening weekend. Hubert
  4. Try this link: http://www.alu-tanks.de Email: f-lammers(at)t-online.de Hubert
  5. What dogs? I thought that was Agent R. on his US trip. But dogs makes more sense as he probably has only 1 wife with him. Hubert
  6. Enjoyed them. Thanks. Hubert
  7. You mean for a pair of those?
  8. Wrong, this could be exactly the problem. Guzzis have changed even more than oils have done. Hubert
  9. Just a short note for now: was back at home at 7:30. No problems, no tickets, nothing, just a great time the full three days. Hubert
  10. Only valid for Rossos. Hubert
  11. Now that's a really good point! Hubert
  12. I'm not sure whether you really want to. If the part fails you'll push your bike. Hubert
  13. Unless you're hands are as stonecold as the rest it's always a good idea to wear gloves like you did on these pix. Otherwise the measurements would have been useless - your hot grip having totaly spoiled the results. I myself also wear tiny white and silky gloves each time I check the tire pressure for instance. I really have to explain it from time to time to ignorant spectators, but who cares if "you have a shaft like mine" Hubert
  14. That's the most strange thing with time: in history you only have men, or assholes. Referring to the other fact that time strangely enough has a certain tendency to romanticise even the worst events and occurrencies you certainly must have been stirring the primordial soup of this thread. Hubert
  15. You've seen this one before? Hubert
  16. Thank you very much. I'll put both ideas on this winter's Probably To Do List. How much would you gain by replacing the diodes by two additional SCRs? Hubert
  17. Wipe it off and watch what happens. A bad seal is unlikely, I suppose it's just the surplus grease. Hubert
  18. That's reasonable. If you get 18V then all components work as they should, besides the regulator circuit wich obviously fails to open the rectifier at 14/15V. The internals get damp after some years, salt and other nasty things get in as well and as a result migration often starts bridging parts and even wires. Putting mine into the kitchen oven at 120°C for some hours cured the 17V problem. Probably temporarily, but for this summer it works. Hubert
  19. Hold it Jaap. Others are running nice and reliable, day for day, year after year. Some obviously don't, in 9 out of 10 cases after the innards were forced to see daylight. Hubert
  20. Hmm, but the better part of them thought it was enough to expose just a bit more cooling fins - thankfully. Hubert
