Loose magnets in the starter? I once had these symptoms, goes parallel with a very weak feeling battery. Hubert

And this is what the weather looks like in this year's German winter. Picture taken at Dezember, 24th, 10°C. Hubert

Thank's for the maths, Antonio. I just thought it may be a bit small. What's wrong with the place where we've been to in 2004, Jaap? Hubert

Dealer won't work on a bike with a power commander?

Don't worry. Go and practice. Start with the first half of this: Ueberlebensradar - Sprachbarrieren Hubert -
That's 20x45 or 30x30. Hmm... Hubert

Well, on the pictures it looks quite small anyway. Who many people will fit in there? Hubert

This makes perfect sense, you should just read carefully what NorBSATriGuzzi wrote. The fact that you sell these PCIII stuff may impair you a bit in this discipline. It seems that his dealer is capable to tune the ecu without the help of this expensive crutch. If he can do this, then he can adjust everything that may be necessary to be adjusted in this ecu, be it spark advance, temperature correction or pressure correction. You PC guys know that and so you also should know that this PC bling is not capable to provide this capabilities. So why should he let his dealer tune his bike, having hidden the PC, and after that reinstall the PC? Can anyone think of a bigger self cheating? Hubert -
No, no conflict. You remember, this year Jaap was invented for dinner and to seeing some Guzzi officials (second line probably) when he was down in Mandello. It seems he could manage it that GMG 2007 will be held in Limburg in order to celebrate this list. At least there will be no GMG in Mandello next year. Hubert

I'm not sure yet. The parts don't really fit, the radiator outlets interfere with the cylinderheads for instance and all those other holes should be closed. That's the reason I'm planning to make a mold of the parts in which I can adjust the design a bit. If I need a mold then the complete fairing would mean a lot of work and stink, not to mention sidestand/ground clearance. This means also that I will paint he fairing, not the Goose. It will become some quite big green dot in the landscape. Unfortunately I'm not very clever with designing such things. I think I will end up with the main cupola and the first sidepanels. These will leave parts of the cylinders visible but hide the valve covers what I'd prefere anyway. The look of the two round headlights is what attracted me since a long time. I was searching for this one, but they are really hard to find nowadays: This would have been a perfect match. The picture is from 1990 Hubert

Now this is what it looks like: So much for the position of the parts and whether all this will be worth the effort. Now the molds and adequate holders have to be done. Exactly the sort of project that can inhibite a proper season starting Hubert

Thank you, FRIENDS It's from an early Fireblade and it's bigger. But'll have to be patient, I'm afraid. Now with the Ex-Box the Stucchi fairing looks definitely way to unsophisticated, if not even silly. Hubert

Never! It was developed under Berlusconi, he's America's buddy!

Daniel, thank you for the update. Hubert

Hey, and what's that about all these happy X-mas and new years wishes mostly 3 weeks before it's time for? Is anyone planning to go underground already? Hubert

My bike, and I like the picture. Luhbo, that's my italian nick name I once got from my Laverda buddies, pronounced in our local dialect. Hubert
-
Well, you may be joking, but they brought it in the news here that in England they indeed have a strongly growing tendency to abolish X-Mas parties at work not because of the money they cost the companies but because of reasons of political correctness. No Christmas party because of our non-christian colleagues. Is this liberal or just stupid? Hubert

That's quite easy to answer. See, Guzzis since ever tend to stay the course, so probably do its' riders, so since staying the course actualy can mean everything every result when f++++ through this test should be possible. I wanted to contribute to the GGG thread, but Jaap unfortunately didn't let me, so adding to the above said it's also very likely that GG will pop up here again sooner or sooner, just while accidentialy staying his course. Fly fast - turn left Hubert

Lazy cylinders? Are there busy ones, too? Quite a pitoresque explanation. Most people don't like such pictures or art in general when they become too challenging. Are they made up here they seem to flush down right into anybodies mind quite confortably. In the ECU you have a so called offset map to deal with such things. BTW, I don't use it and my spark plugs are looking quite equaly to one another. Besides one cylinder being lazy you can find other, maybe better measurable differences on your bike as well, be they different exhaust lenghts, intake lenghts, different intake angles, flap opening relative to intake direction, or, last but not least, different snorkel postions in the airbox. What I don't see actually is the idea behind the indexing. Just because Pete thinks it's bullshit doesn't automatically make it become such, does it? Hubert

I find this worth to be pointed out by more but only a few reasons! It seems that if you really trust in your Guzzi she pays back any bit of confidence you give her... Hubert

Just to give you an impression of what you're missing if you don't own one: Spit comin' low

That may sound reasonable, so far, but what's about the behaviour of pure gases compared to that of mixtures of them? Have you heard anything about such differences on the way to your PhD? Hubert

I had a crash myself in summer last year. Went into a curve as usual and all of a sudden found myself sliding on the street behind the bike, direction crash barrier. All I thought was "Hey, how come..." and "Shit, now it's bent!". No clue what could have happened. The explanation was quite easy, though. First came a sign "Bikes 30 km/h only", probably meant only for beginners, I mean 30 km/h, if you know what I mean. Well, second came a slight mill-out in the pavement, about 6mm deep and 100 mm wide, more or less parallel to my way for about 3 meters, third a less slight bike slide as described above, fourth a wheel chair for 6 weeks (only!). Now, what's been the reason? The bike or me although I absolutely had no clue what I could have done wrong in this moment? The bike very very likely was not guilty I'd say! Hubert
